I have decided to open an Ask Pillbox38 Section because we have recently had some Hiccups with policies IE Multi Packs
I was unaware that there was a strong feeling that my no warranty policy was not supported.. This type of thing I need to know about from the start, and then I can liaise with my customers and reach a better solution.
Its not all about problematic issues, I learn from you guys and all feedback will be well received on any TW, E.Smoking Related Subject.
Please bear in mind single order issues I will not address on here. The already open forum threads being run by Louise caters for this type of enquiry.
I will in the Main be responding by Video... I cant promise daily but as much as I can I will.
I find it easier to communicate effectively this way. Lets see how we get on..

Hello Jason and Welcome to "Ask Jason" You've created and ingenious idea.. that will keep customers close, and those who are not, will become closer to the great products Totally Wicked sells. As it seems I'm the first questioner.... and not having time to think of a totally out of this world Question for you.... On the spur of the moment what is in my mind is a Forum text that I saw questioning if TW USA may be sold soon or the near future. As a strong advocate of Totally Wicked, I'm very concerned about that possibility occurring. My reasoning is.. if we Already have the Best Product, the Best Customer Care and The Very Best Owner relationship... and the Best Forum and Friends... Any change whatsover will not be the same as we currently have and therefore the concerns of a TW new Ownership could turn the company into a slippery downhill slope. Is there any truth to that rumor.. and if not, Do you know how it came about? If you could kindly comment on the above ( I certainly hope in a very positive (TW) way)... there will be less anxiety amongst us TW'ers USA side. Thank you, Mike Dailing Carlsbad, Calif.

Hello Jason , This is not at all going to be an attack on TW but I just wanted to get across that I think the closing of the store in Bradenton was handled without thinking about your customers. All companies have their issues but emails should have gone out to let your customers know that it would be closing. Just some kind of heads up. Not all of your customers live 10 min away. I supported TW 100% and also believe in the old saying "you get what you pay for" I used to drive over an hour to get my juice and all my hardware. We talked on a few occassions and I was excited for you and TW , but 2 times I drove out there to find the lights off and no one home and this last time to find the sign written on notebook paper taped to the door (CLOSED due to staff issues) I guess what I'm getting at is the wasted time , the $100's in wasted petrol and the dissapointment of not being able to get what I needed was more than I could take. A warning sent out would have avoided alot of unneccesary frustration. I know there are alot of people out there besides myself that would have appreciated it. As for the website , I do not have a paypal account because I was ripped off years ago by them , I know it says you don't need one to order but after I had some time to "cool off" I gave it a go and my order wasn't able to process through with any of my credit cards? I'm not sure what's up with that ? Now that I have vented , I will say that , TW's products are awesome and I miss what I once had which adds to the wound. I hope that whatever the end result is, that TW is able to make a come back and survive here in the states. Wish you the best Jason , Matt D

I am not sure if we can or should post replies here, or if its just Jason that should be replying. Hope I am not out of line but here it goes Many of us were saddened to hear the lounge was closing, but I was assured it was due only to staffing issues while both Jason and Alex had business to attend to in the UK . The lounge will soon be reopened and all will be well. Alex opened it up for our last vap meeting and it has gone through more renovations and is looking great I look forward to visiting there soon . Paying on line without pay pale: mine goes through both ways but a friend had the same prob you describe. He called his cc company to approve payments to TW and the problem was resolved. Also want to say welcome to the forum Matthew, great to have you with us

pillbox38; or is it jason? sorry for the panicked post there, i just watched your video from the 22nd,& hopefully i understand correctly that the bradenton store isn't closed etc. the thing about ordering the multipack of atomizer's is a concern though; i'm new to tw, love it so far, except for the issue of returning those 2 atomizer's that didn't work for me @ all even though your co. (adrena, amanda, naomi) were all very supportive in offering me tips and such, unfortunately they didn't work...i must apologize for "jumping off" like that before i watched your video...look forward to hearing more from you, and surely hope tw usa stays here!!!

Yeah - mailorder is still conducted from that address - it's only the vapers' lounge and onsite sales that are affected AIUI (behind the scenes they're still shipping stuff, and it's the right address for returns etc.)

Dear Pillbox38 Let me start by giving my appreciation to the company. I have been happy in all of my experiances thus far with the exceptioon of one issue. I find it strange i cannot get replacment button safety caps for the SD. I was even more dissapointed when i recieved my SD body and realized not even this includes a safety cap. I feel its a little rediculus i need to but an entirerly new kit just to get the cap. If you could shed some light on this for me it would be appreciated. Thanks for everything and keep up the good work.

Thanks for the reply.... my 15 ( minutes of fame on uTube LOL..... Your reply certainly put to rest any 'rumors'.. as well as any anxiety from your best customers/supporters. Good News indeed. Like ChefJim has said, we in business for ourselves ALWAYS have frustrations... that, if we let get to us.. can have a very debilitating effect... Particularly if the customers hear of it. So what I've always said and what I practice is.... If I've got a good product and it has demand, Hang Tough! There are a lot of other things that are a heck of a lot worse.. ie. Government meddling. That's for sure.

hi there, me again...i really WANT to order a multipack of atomizers for my 510 titan but keep getting put off by some BAD reviews; ie; 2 worked, 3 didn't; 3 worked, 2 didn't...is the product more STABLE now that i can feel more confident ordering them? had to send back the 2 atty's that came w/the coppery/gold kit i bought (because it was on sale) don't want to have to do that again...i love TW so far other than that!

T, all I can say is that I only order attys in the MP packs and have never had a DOA. Some attys take a little longer to come to life than others and some live longer than others but the MP attys are the same as the singles and there should be no difference in how well an atty performs based on if its a single or MP atty.

Some run great right out of the box..... some need a little use ... hour or so to get rolling as usual. I think it may have something to do with the primer in them.... possibly not enough... or to much.
I find most run fine out of the box from the get go though.

Not destroyed, but you won't be able to use it with carts any more. Without the wicking, you'll need to Direct Drip (DD) - it's a popular method, though not one I practice myself, so I'll leave it for an initiate of that doctrine to explain the finer points. Basically it just means you'll have to add 2-3 drops directly to the atomizer when you want to vape, rather than filling up a whole cart - they do say it gives a better and tastier hit that way (though it's too fiddly for me.)

'Fraid not - a) you'd have to thread it back into the core of the tiny heater coil (and you can't do that by hand once the atomizer's been factory assembled - it's just way too small and fiddly,) and b) it needs to be fireproof silica - the core threads are in direct contact with the heater element, and fluval would just burn (fluval's only okay in the cart because the bridge stops it coming into direct contact with the heater element - that's the theory anyway.)

T, lol it will still work with the cart, just not as well. The bridge is a wire wick and the fabric wick you removed helps keep the bridge nice and primed so without it your atty may run a little drier. Some of remove the wick whenever we get a burnt taset or have a flavor we cant seem to get rid of. Getting rid of the old wick in old attys can improve flavor, but I would never remove it unless there is a need as it does have a job to do and is there for a reason PS DDing is not so bad

most fire blankets are made of woven silica I think (now that they've pretty much banned asbestos anyway.) But really, don't attempt it - you'll only break the atty. They wind the coil around the threads in the factory - trying to fit one after the coil's been wound (and mounted at the bottom of a hollow tube, just to make it even more inaccessible!) is really not feasible. It would be like trying to thread a needle through a light bulb filament, through a keyhole - you're bound to end up breaking the filament if you try it Guess you'll need to DD until you can get more atties I'm afraid (well, try the carts, but like capt12b says, the wicking is going to be erratic at best ) But at least it is still working, and that's better than it might be. You may even find you like DDing - lots of folks do.

Consider it a salutory lesson that could have been a lot worse. I think most of us have had the experience at least once (and usually only once!) of being stuck with no working kit/juice, and it's a horrible feeling, I know from experience (I have been reduced on one occasion to crack-piping homebrew made from a pipe tobacco smoothie That was a long weekend until my order for juice and atties arrived in the post!) But now you will stockpile enough supplies to ensure it never happens again Get spare atties, more juice, another whole PV kit as backup. And in the meantime, at least you can still get your vape on, even if you have to DD
