I'm at the time of life where anything I really want I've already got so buying presents for me is a nightmare.
Imagine, with six kids, grandkids and great grandkids (almost too numerous for me to remember 'em all) the amount of vouchers I've just got for my birthday.
But no TW vouchers because, and it's them telling me this, you don't do 'em.
C'mon Jason - start doing vouchers, you'll be doing my lot a favour and -- SAVING ME A SMALL FORTUNE.

What a brilliant idea. I'm difficult to buy for. I usually tell people not to bother and end up with various baksets of smelly stuff which I hate and give to charity, or yet another decanter when I hate cluttr anyway.
I'd love to ask for TW vouchers! Please do this TW, I'm a leap year child, once every four years usually results in big presents!

I can feel the collection getting bigger already! Shineys, more shineys!

TW - please hurry up and launch this. I'm in danger of getting more dodgy coloured nighties, stinky lavender soap and gross glassware that is only used when the buyer is coming.

Pease rush this through!

I believe the very idea of the "YoYo" is anti-voucher...

The yoyo makes you wait till your favorite thing is ??% off.. but everything else you want is +??% off, logic says you will buy all of your items if your favorite thing is ??% off. Meaning you will spend more money then you would normally because you feel like you cheated the site and got a great deal...

Vouchers takes away the profit from the business... unless they are so huge that a sale doesn't effect their profit margin.

Like kohl's or walmart...

I don't know what it means in the USA, but over here a gift voucher would be a monetary voucher that you can use to purchase goods at a certain store.

So, for example, someone would pay TW £10 and they would receive a gift voucher to the value of £10. They would then give that to someone and the recipient could use it to fund or part fund purchases at TW

Yea, over here that is a "gift card"

A voucher is like a "Rain Check" on a certain item...

Like if TW sold out of the "mega dual coils" and a sale happened the customer would be able to get that price at a later date...

BTW "Mega Dual Coils"... *clears throat* just sayin ;P

LOL Paige, I had no idea that our "voucher" was your "gift card", I can see why vouchers are not a good idea for TW but gift cards are another thing altogether!

Well, you learn something every day Smiley

I can see how you wouldn't think a gift voucher is a good idea based on your interpretation of what it means!

Hi
Gift card are something we have looked at in the past and did not move forward with for various reasons.
I do agree that they would certainly be a very wise business move and it is probably time we readdressed the concept.

I remember being in San Francisco a few years ago (doing some product testing a Sun's labs). I decided I needed a cigarette so I said to the host that I was just going out to smoke a fag.
I wondered why he was giving me a very strange look until he explained that what I'd just said meant I was going outside to kill a homosexual!

Since then, I've tried to learn the differences between US English and UK English, but there are obviously still differences I missed Smiley

Hi Phil,

Once did a 13hrs leg by herc no smoking  (not even on flight deck iffy cargo), as soon as we landed I was off like a shot, straight across the pan into the 1st building ,

said the the guy behind the desk ( probably a lance jack 200 stripes and lots of badges), where can I go for a fag, the 30 odd staff behind him went deathly quiet, until he said " it's ok  he's a limey he means a cigarette, welcome to San Diego.", Mirimar Fighter Town USA.

Just another for the list we go for  s**t, they smoke it  Cheesy Cheesy
