Different venues have different pricing structures.

Also, different venues have different marketing plans.

Also, the sales going on currently are in part to reduce stock to make way for new and more popular products.

The stores are stocked pretty lean so offering the same discounts isn't really an option.

I though most places do online discounts. For example, HMV do the studio Ghibli Dvds for £6 and in store they are £9-£15

Exactly.  The overhead of a brick-n-mortar store is significantly more than a virtual store and most retailers try to drive business to their web fronts.

That doesn't mean a brick-n-mortar store doesn't have its place and purpose because you can't really get the service online that you can in an actual store.

Actually, with some retailers, you don't want the 'service' you get in their physical stores!  Cheesy

Fortunately, TW's stores are definitely not that way but from everything I've heard and read, great places to go to.

Hi vlad

A couple of reasons the main one being the current Yo Yo promotion has had a fluctuating price and rather than trying to emulate this in the shop i told Rachel to keep everything at RRP.

Second reason is currently all items sold are manually written up, ie we dont yet in the UK have a retail POS system.
