Ok Scott

The Member of staff that told you the fluid was RED LABEL is completely wrong and i will be taking this up with both operations managers in the USA and UK tomorrow.

re the fluid that comes in the Compact kits this is Joyetechs fluid ie TITAN fluid, the same as is used in the 510 pre filled carts, the Tornado Pre-Filled carts and the TITAN/TORNADO range of fluids.

I am aware of the feedback from  some customers that the fluids seem to taste and look different.. I have emailed Frank and am awaiting a response regarding this.

Will let you know as soon as i do.

Thanks for stepping in Pillbox, as this topic has been much debated. I will personally guarantee that the 16mg titan fluid tobacco included in the 510 kits is most certainly a different flavor than the 18mg available in the titan fluid section of the website. I purchased several bottles of the recently US available titan fluid tobacco and was able to do a side by side comparison last night. The 16mg is drastically sweeter with an overwhelmingly delicious nuttiness with very little trace of raw tobacco. The 18mg has some slight undertones, but is quite dominantly a tobacco.

Should the 16mg flavor become available outside the kits, please do not bother listing it on the site. Just send it all to me and bill me accordingly!   Smiley

Second only to the PR Rootbeer, the Titan/Tornado Tobacco is my favorite flavor.

I liked it the first time I tried it and that hasn't changed even though it is a constant vape.

Other flavors I like for a while and then don't and then do again but the Titan Tobacco never dims in my eyes.

Thanks for the reply, PB38, and for looking into this for myself and others.

I have noticed that the liquid supplied with my Compact Tornado Kit, the one that tastes best, varies a lot from that which came with my silver SD MkII.
As I'd mentioned previously the labels themselves differ, Tornado Kit in red/white/black and Screw-Driver in shades of gray/white/black and liquid itself different colors.
While waiting on the Yo-Yo to give me a better discount I was looking over the Titan liquids, seeing that the pictures of the 10ml bottle vary from that of the 20ml and by that I mean the liquid color varies.
I can see that the plastic on the 10ml is perfectly transparent with a dark liquid inside, whereas the plastic of the 20ml is translucent with a lighter liquid inside.
I don't know if this helps but the 10ml 16mg liquid that came with the Tornado looks just like the lighter shade of Titan in the 20ml size, makes me wonder if the 2 sizes have the same liquid in them.

Bottle of 10ml T.W. Titan Fluid as seen on the TW-EL Website, liquid is much darker than what came with my Tornado Kit...

20ml bottle of T.W. Titan Fluid as seen on the TW-EL Website, liquid is closer to being identical in color to what came with my Tornado Kit [the good, sweet, nutty stuff!]...

Interestingly, the first shot or the 10ml liquid looks just like the color of Tobacco that came with my SD MkII Kit that has the grayish label, the stuff that has a drier, heavier tobacco flavor.
It's the juice that's in the second shot in the 20ml bottle that looks identical in color to the Tornado 16mg that tastes sooo good, much sweeter, nutty, and much lighter on the tobacco back.

Just thought I'd toss this in there, since noticing this difference on the Website and just in case it's of any help.
I don't think it's the lighting or method of photography, although I could be wrong, it just seems they're not even close in color to one another.
It seems very odd that a liquid in a milky/translucent container looks so much lighter in color than that in a clear/transparent container, when logic dictates it would more than likely be the other way around if they're both the same liquids.
Hmmm... very odd indeed.

P.S.; just noticed the lighter liquid in 20ml size says "Winston", can't make out the label on the 10ml size, so maybe they're different tobacco blends and not just "Tobacco"?

Hi All
I do not usually anticipate in forums, I just like to read but I feel I should chime in here.
I am not an expert in vape juices, this is just my opinion.

As you can see in the photos I have loaded, there is very little colour difference in the liquids when decanted into identical bottles but I feel this is not the real issue here.
There is a problem uploading the photos.

I bought a titan kit which came with the 16mg tobacco on the right in the picture with Pillbox38 on the label.  I also bought some Titan fluid Tobacco in 18mg and 11mg as you see on the left.

I bought the bottles of Titan fluid because I read several people going on about how great it tasted in the carts that came with TW kits and was informed that, the same great taste could be obtained by purchasing Titan Tobacco Fluid.

When I first opened the Titan Fluid I sniffed the liquid, as you do and was surprised that it didn’t do much for me.  My first impressions of the taste were quite similar, I didn’t know what all the fuss was about but it was unlike anything I had tried in the past.
The taste was quite sweet to me and it was a bit like old socks mixed with some sweet wet nuts like cashews or hazel nuts or similar. I can’t really get a sense of tobacco in this fluid if I’m honest but there is another flavour in there which bothers me, a sort of chemical taste and spoils the experience. Even though the description I have given doesn’t sound good, it was far from unpleasant and mixed a small quantity with 17% flue cured for a tobacco taste and vaped it for a week or so.

I opened the 16mg Tobacco juice with Pillbox on the label and sniffed it, I immediately thought, This is the same juice. I had wrongly assumed that the liquid supplied with the kits would be the red label juice tobacco because of different labels and strength.

This juice tastes very similar but not the same. Its like they used the same ingredients but altered the quantities of each.  This tastes more like un burnt tobacco to me with sweet dry nuts but the nuts taste darker like they have been roasted if you see what I mean, but the most important thing is that the weird chemical taste is not present and therefore does not overpower or alter the flavours. This juice also leaves a nicer aftertaste like a smidgen of chocolate tobacco. I prefer this one without doubt.

It is possible these two liquids did start out as the same tobacco juice.

As we all know, most of our taste comes from our sense of smell and I realised that the ingredient I didn’t like in the Titan Juice was the Bottle. The Bottle smells highly of plastic or possibly glue on the label. You can notice this to an extreme if you leave the new bottle in the cardboard box and then take it out and sniff it. Once the bottle has been out of the box and on your desk for a few days the exterior smell of the bottle fades away but the juice inside still tastes of it.

It is obvious to see that the bottles used in packaging the two liquids are very different as the Pillbox labelled 16mg juice even appears to be darker. The Titan bottle is soft and very easy to squeeze and is made from a very different plastic. There is probably a reason why perfumes are in glass bottles so they don’t take on the smell of the plastic bottle and for the same reason Coke tastes better from a can than from a bottle.

@ skiganah:

Firstly, let me begin by welcoming you to the forums!
Secondly, let me say for your first post here you've done an exceptional job!

Although when you had said  "As you can see in the photos I have loaded..." your photos apparently didn't appear in your post and that's OK.
That's really not a problem, as many [as I've done myself before] may have just overlooked adding the photos, possibly don't know how to get them to post as that too varies from forum to forum.
So if I or others here can ever be of any assistance to you in this area or with anything else please feel free to ask.

As for the work you've done in your testing the various liquids, your attention to details as well, you've obviously put a lot of work into this and as such is by far one of the best I've seen anywhere.
Your description of the 16mg bottled Kit juice is pretty much spot-on too. That's the one I enjoy that came in my Compact Tornado Kit, the same one I'd like to find out for sure exactly what it is and how to know for sure if it's possible to get more of the same. I also feel this juice does indeed taste more like fully cured and un-burnt tobacco leaves having grown up in an area where tobacco was grown everywhere so I know what a fresh cured sweet tobacco leaf taste like when placed in my mouth and/or chewed just a little. When you said there's a taste of freshly roasted sweet nuts I also fully agree with, finding that flavor to be just what I experience with this juice. As for the after taste, while I hadn't noticed the taste of chocolate I am going to try some again after posting this to see if I experience the same hint of chocolate you mention. Once again I totally agree with you that this one is the one I enjoy/prefer, without a doubt, as my favorite thus far out of all the TW tobacco juices I've as yet tried.

Well done!
It's always good to get new members on the forum, even better to get those such as yourself that go as far as you have here.
So keep coming back, please, I really enjoy seeing posters that do so much investigating and go even further to provide such a detailed and informative post!

All my best, to you and yours, this Holiday Season and always!
Thanks again, skiganah, for joining in here to clarify the mystery surrounding this baffling mystery, for taking so much time working on this since I know just how time consuming this stuff can be that some others don't seem to realize it takes, and last but not least for this great post!

Thanks Scott.

I have tried so many times to upload the pictures but they fail during the loading period and the window returns a page not found notice. I tried resizing before uploading and still no joy.
Some forums don't allow pictures to be loaded until the new member has made a certain amount of posts, this maybe the case here, just a thought.

As far as I know, uploading of pictures directly to the forum doesn't work, something about the disk space available for image upload being full.

In any event, the usual route is to find a free online image hosting site, upload the images to there and then use the link they provide in between [ img ] [ / img ] tags. (remove spaces and insert the provided URL between the ] [.

Or, just click on the 'Insert image' button just above the smiley faces and the second from the left and then paste the image hosting provided image URL in the middle.

SMF [Simple Machines] software, what is used by TW Forums, has the option to allow or disallow pictures.
The pictures are hosted by postimage.org, so they're not eating up server Bandwidth on the forum owners end.
I just tried it using the "Add image to post" feature and it's not working for me.
I also tried the "Additional options..." in red found just below the text window, again it's a no-go.
I get a message saying "Your file is too large. The maximum attachment size allowed is 370 KB.".
I'm a forum owner and use SMF on at least one of my forums, I also use PHP and SMI, so I know there is the option to disallow pictures.
These are the SMF options that are Admin controlled for attachments, can be found in their how-to guides and FAQs...
Attachments

    * Allowed on a per member group or board basis.
    * The filename can be encrypted to increase the security (so you can upload .php files, etc.)
    * Optional restriction on what filetypes may be uploaded.
    * Ability to restrict such that only registered members can view them (disables hotlinking, mostly.)
    * Images can be embedded into posts.
There are other options too but I have a feeling these are being pretty tightly controlled here, it's all a matter of forum owner/ administrator choice.

It's best to use an off-site photo sharing/ hosting Site anyways so you always have complete control over your own content.
I know from experience the time and hard work it takes to post images, from setting up the shots, editing, uploading and so on.

Either that or for some reason TW doesn't like GODLIKE Image Hosting?

Dang, I had to go into your Image host where your pictures are, then click on the....
viewing dsc025202.jpg (40.5 KB - 600x450px) in blue to see the picture in a new window, then right click image and left click Copy Image Location.
That's friggin' odd, gives me the same URL as before and all I did was add the img tags using image button over smileys and it works.

I don't think it's your problem, I couldn't upload your images until I went directly to your URL that was hiding in your post unseen.
Once I used the blue Hyperlink to your specific photo I could copy/paste in a reply, then added the .img to front and back.
Am I making sense? OK if I'm not, let me know, it's a bit confusing to me why your direct URL doesn't work for me either.

Hey Adam, try this if you haven't yet....

While on one of your pic pages, like follows, click the Share as you probably did but instead of copy/pasting HTML do it with the line that says..
BBCode (Forums) img]http://hostmypicture.com/images/dsc025202.jpg[/img but with the brackets front and rear [I omitted them so pic wouldn't show again].
That gives you the img tags automatically and if that doesn't work try a copy/paste of ...
URL: http://hostmypicture.com/images/dsc025202.jpg
... and then highlight the text and click on the "Insert Image" button over top of the winky smiley.

Oh, I should have clarified, use the second line that says BBCode (Forums): as the first is just a thumbnail I think...

Yep, the first one is just a thumbnail, but that works too and can come in handy.
Clicking on a posted thumbnail takes people right to the picture in your album, can save space if you post a lot of pics in a single post too

Wow, now looking at your pics skiganah I can really see what a difference the containers make.
That's a major contrast change from a clear bottle or translucent over to having both in the same clear containers!
I wouldn't have thought there would be such a drastic change, but you've certainly proven there can be and actually is.

Now if we can find out why they taste so utterly different, or what the difference actually is, we'd be set!

Should you decide to try again, give me a shout and I'll try and help if you need it.
I think you were just using the incorrect code line from your picture host Site, not that you need more posts.

I'm glad I saw this post,I thought it was me being the difference..But now I see I'm not the only one. These are two different creatures. I ordered the Titan tobacco flavor 20ml bottle because I loved the stuff that came with my 510 kits.I waited too long so I was out for 2 days before I got my order in for the new bottle so I didn't have anything to compare it to other than taste, and it doesn't taste the same.I'm sorta miffed too because I got an email reply when asking about a flavor concentrate so I could mix my own or more specifically, bump up the flavor of the pre-mix a little that said, "we don't sell the Titan flavour as a concentrate, however we do sell the E-liquid which is already premixed".so I expected the same flavor and it wasn't. Don't get me wrong though, the stuff I got in the mail isn't bad at all, just not what I wanted or was expecting.
If i can get the EXACT same flavor as comes with the kits(Titan tobacco 16mg),please let me know how,I'll order by the gallon, lol.

Hi. Just looking for some clarification here. Having recently received some cartos which I bought just for fun in the sales (I'm a Tank user normally) It got me thinking.. It came with their 14mg Tobacco and I'd forgotten how much I like it. I've not tried it since I first started vaping many moons ago. Anyway, I'd like to order another bottle. So just wondering, did this ever get resolved as to whether it is the Titan Tobacco the comes with the pre loaded stuff or what?  Undecided

PS; I only speed read the thread.. so if I missed the definitive reply I apologise!  Wink
Cheers.

Well,, kinda strange then. I thought this would be one of the easiest mysteries to answer compared to some on here? Unless.. it has been answered and it's all in the imagination? but from what I've read, it doesn't seem to be!? We wait and we wonder!  Undecided...  Smiley

Any news?

Just found this thread. I wrote an e-mail to the info mailbox last week, but didn't hear anything yet.

I don't care for the sweet tobacco flavours. So far the one I like the best is what came with the 510 kit, and I am running low  Embarrassed
