Do We Have A Choice

Was wondering if we have a choice between UPS and USPS.  My last package came UPS.  Took 8 days to arrive.  USPS only takes 3-4 days.  When I called the TW office to inquire I was told that higher dollar amount orders are now being shipped via UPS.  I just forgot to ask what the dollar amount was that would trigger the UPS shipping.

If it's the same set up as the UK, then the UPS shipping will be used when the insurance level of USPS service is exceeded.

In the UK, Royal Mail recorded service offers up to £41 GBP compensation (or 100 times the value of a first class postage stamp), then for more valuable orders, TW use a courier service (similar to UPS) service.

I think here in the US that would be $100.00 I think.  But then maybe that is what you get free from UPS.  Just upsets me.  I use to be able to place an order on Sunday afternoon and receive either Wednesday or Thursday.  Now with UPS I won't get it until the following Monday.   Doubles the delivery time

I thought that UPS was better and faster than USPS Tony?
