I am really really really looking forward to this device.  I will be getting one but depending on size depends what mah i go for.

Firstly im hearing through a vine of grapes that this has been delayed and a possible date of 5th may. Any info on this?

Also

What ones will tw be stocking 650 900 or 1000 mah

im not sure i see the relevance of a 900 mah battery when you have a 1000mah one as well.

However i will have to get one or two as my 650mah passthrough has been killed by running LR attys on it all day every day   Cry

As the voltage control button is where the USB lead would normally be I don't see how a passthrough version can happen.

I think that might be a good idea and I am now considering not getting this Twist.   While it would be nice to have the vv in the battery, the downside is that once the battery goes, no more vv !

Buy two, or keep  your normal passthrough on standby. There are no other VV devices that I know of that have a passthrough option.

Oh boy, I sure didn't explain meself well did I?   What I was trying to say is that you lose the VV when the battery goes, so maybe a better idea is to just use my normal VV device (which at present is the booster with passthrough).   My luck with batteries has not been good.   I see where peeps have them last up to a year.   Not me and I only use between 2 - 3ml of juice a day.  So, at what will probably be $30 for one battery with VV would not be worth it to me.   I'll just throw my booster on it.

I've seen devices with a hollow knob that circles an input. Here's one example, a camera. The one I owned had a button to take the picture and a knob around it. Replace the button with an open port and walla. It would take some redesigning but it's possible.

I would have thought so Rts since you are only moving the base in a limited range, you could shrink wrap the wires to insulate and then feed them through from the usb port around the booster and have the outer section of the base connected to the booster to select your voltage. Would be the ultimate battery to be a passthrough vv as slim as the ego

I would be surprised if they aren't already working on it. If I was being cynical I might even suspect they have it already but won't release it till they've sold a boatload of non-passthrough ones first.

Sorry to revive this old thread, If i had it my way i would have opened a new one, However i know people like to keep the forum tidy. So for the sake of that il ask in here again.

WHEN will the twist be here. Louise seemed to think there was no delays with this. I thought there was. She confirmed 2 weeks for tw to get stock. That was just over 3 weeks ago.

So evidently there has been a delay or TW just havent put them up yet. Im kind of hoping the latter is true as I am dying to get one of these. So many DCT cartos are lying just waiting to be resurrected with a little high voltage.

Anyway if someone could chime in with an expected date for these i would be very appreciative  Cheesy

not bad at all. Should work out about £20 to buy in the UK. I know joyetech were on holiday for 5 days or so which may have drawn out the shipping of more than the few that were distributed since to restock iv heard about 2 weeks. I would think this would be popular though given the ease of use and price point. It allows your average joe to get on the VV wagon

definately, the tornado's a popular bit of kit, I have the torpedo but thats way too big to carry round so this will be the same size as my ego battery which is perfect, and like you say it will let others get on the vv wagon too.

I know a few places got them in just before joyetech went on holiday but i would rather get mine from TW so il let you all know when I get an email

Dan thinks everything is great ..... especially if it lights up.  Wink

What I'm really trying to find out is if the brushed steel is slippery like chromed stuff is.

Thanks for the update Louise! Under normal circumstances I would be really jealous but I've come down with a bad cold and daren't vape. Hopefully by the time I'm better the pink one will be in!

Dan, how are you getting on with yours?

yeah the steel is a bit more slippy than the black as its very grippy material. but never had one slip because of the material its because its fell out my lap when getting out the car etc

Just ordered a steel one, I do like the black ones but after a while mine start to get scratched and just end up looking scruffy.

yeah I always wanted black as well until i had my tornado in black for a while. Once it was in my pocket once or twice with money or keys etc it ended up with the black coating being scrapped off in bits and once i got one it took the shine off the svelte look.

Iv had my steel one since and it probably had a few scratched etc but you cant notice it without really really looking so just keeps its look longer

Well sad times TW did a stellar job and had the Twist sent out to me on friday which would normally have reached me the next day, I was so excited I forgot to choose next day delivery on the order form, anyway. Turns out Royal Snail didnt do so well on this one for me as today no TW package. So gutted now i have to wait another 2 days before I get it thanks to work on monday.

Sorry guys and girls but no pics. I was planning on going to my local reseller as well so I could get some pics with it beside all other batteries but that will have to wait until next week.

Hi Guys,

I have just picked up my twist yesterday and I can safely say WOW!!!  Shocked  The flavour that comes off it is amazing and it is a perfect replacement from having to carry around my booster.  Great charge on them as well.  Have been using it non stop and not had to do a charge yet.

A deff must for any vapers out there!

the only annying thing with the twist is the lights don't change colour as the power runs down and it will cut out mid vape when its dead, other than that its a great bit of kit.

Yeah I was shocked by the lights thing.  Seems like a bit of a Derp idea not to have it in.  I was vaping away (thankfully I have two twists so not too bad) light still white so me thinking WOW these batterys are good its not run out yet.... Oh its just cut out.  Angry  Oh well the vape makes up for it.  Best piece of kit I have had.!

Yeah.  The twist is still an epic vape.  It looks so pretty too.  But the Odyssey is one that I have the cash saved to one side ready to click the buy button as soon as it is on the TW website.
