Buy two, or keep  your normal passthrough on standby. There are no other VV devices that I know of that have a passthrough option.

Oh boy, I sure didn't explain meself well did I?   What I was trying to say is that you lose the VV when the battery goes, so maybe a better idea is to just use my normal VV device (which at present is the booster with passthrough).   My luck with batteries has not been good.   I see where peeps have them last up to a year.   Not me and I only use between 2 - 3ml of juice a day.  So, at what will probably be $30 for one battery with VV would not be worth it to me.   I'll just throw my booster on it.

As the voltage control button is where the USB lead would normally be I don't see how a passthrough version can happen.

I've seen devices with a hollow knob that circles an input. Here's one example, a camera. The one I owned had a button to take the picture and a knob around it. Replace the button with an open port and walla. It would take some redesigning but it's possible.

I would have thought so Rts since you are only moving the base in a limited range, you could shrink wrap the wires to insulate and then feed them through from the usb port around the booster and have the outer section of the base connected to the booster to select your voltage. Would be the ultimate battery to be a passthrough vv as slim as the ego

I would be surprised if they aren't already working on it. If I was being cynical I might even suspect they have it already but won't release it till they've sold a boatload of non-passthrough ones first.

Sorry to revive this old thread, If i had it my way i would have opened a new one, However i know people like to keep the forum tidy. So for the sake of that il ask in here again.

WHEN will the twist be here. Louise seemed to think there was no delays with this. I thought there was. She confirmed 2 weeks for tw to get stock. That was just over 3 weeks ago.

So evidently there has been a delay or TW just havent put them up yet. Im kind of hoping the latter is true as I am dying to get one of these. So many DCT cartos are lying just waiting to be resurrected with a little high voltage.

Anyway if someone could chime in with an expected date for these i would be very appreciative  Cheesy

not bad at all. Should work out about £20 to buy in the UK. I know joyetech were on holiday for 5 days or so which may have drawn out the shipping of more than the few that were distributed since to restock iv heard about 2 weeks. I would think this would be popular though given the ease of use and price point. It allows your average joe to get on the VV wagon

definately, the tornado's a popular bit of kit, I have the torpedo but thats way too big to carry round so this will be the same size as my ego battery which is perfect, and like you say it will let others get on the vv wagon too.

ok spoke to louise she says since joyetech had a holiday it was indeed slightly delayed with distribution however she is going to send me an email later today when she speaks to the girl that deals with orders to see if there is an ETA on delivery. I know a few places got them in just before joyetech went on holiday but i would rather get mine from TW so il let you all know when I get an email
