I just noticed the past two days my package is stuck in Florida.  This is not normal because today it was suppose to reach my area and be out for delivery the next day.  It seems as though my package won't make it out of Florida today and that means I won't be getting my package until Monday.  Is this normal?  First time it's happened to me.

I think postal cutbacks are starting to happen.

Seems no matter where I get goods from online there are delays along the way. Packages taking side-trips across the country and so on.

Since the USPS decided to reduce numbers and services a couple of months ago,
time from Fla. to Ms. gulfcoast increased from 3 days to 7 days for my last 2 orders.
I too noticed they stayed in the USPS distribution center in Fla. for 2 days without moving.
Just have to plan orders accordingly I guess.

Yeah it seems like the trucks and planes don't leave the dock until they are full sort of mentality.

It makes economic sense on there part..... if you want "QUICK" USPS do offer those services as long as your willing to pay for it.

I sent a message to the email above.

I just checked my order and it's still in Florida going on the third day.  The sad part is, I'm in Chicago and my order won't be here until after the weekend.  So I will have waited 10 days for my shipment to arrive.  Can you offer fed-ex or UPS to make life easier?

that's what basically happened to mine. i thought it wasn't in transit, showing only florida.
but the next thing you know it, my city showed up on the tracker.
hope all is well for you.

I agree... I got a package yesterday that was showing 'received shipment information' for over 3 days -even after it was sitting at my door steps. I guess all the cuts USPS is doing are starting to become more obvious and they don't have the personnel or the time to keep scanning packages as they reach different destination points....  Embarrassed Kind of defeats the purpose of paying for delivery confirmation, doesn't it?  Embarrassed

Same here ... package was listed as being in Tampa for some days..... all of a sudden it's in my area. Shipping times all seem about the same as usual.

Something has changed up in the USPS process .... could be a temporary issue .... regional tracking server down for upgrades or ("Anonymous" hacker attack) or something to explain why the tracking is a bit off.

TW did there part of the bargain. USPS is keeping there time frames ..... just not keep us impatient types in the loop is all
