Okay so I bought a Titan Tank today so I wouldn't need to cart around my big DCT set up.
So I got it home, charged it up, filled the tank with liquid, popped it in and the following happens:
First the vapor is like burnt rubber, the taste is foul and the vapor itself is stinking I even dropped some liquid onto the atomizer and truthfully I aint sure if its actually vapor or smoke from something burning inside!
Secondly after 2 - 3 puffs the atomizer get so hot it feels like its burning my hand! It cant even be handled comfortably.
...and to top it all of the atomizer and battery don't even thread together well, I'm afraid I might break the damn thing just doing the simple task of screwing on the battery!
I don't want to do it, but this might be the first time I will want to get my money back from TW. Am I doing anything wrong? I followed all the instructions and even looked through the forums and videos on youtube and can't see anything I have done differently.

The wife has a Titan Tank and it works like a charm. Simply screw together insert Tank & vape. It looks as if it’s a job for customer support.

Well apparently the atomizer has to work a lot harder to vaporize PEG-400 because it has a much higher boiling point than PG or VG its also quite thick and can crud up the atomizer.

I can see the reasoning now, I haven’t used PEG myself but do know that an old tired atty isn’t up to the job so I assume the atty has to work harder than normal therefore heating up more than normal.

Whuile PEG does need an atty to be at the top of its game as a tired atty won't get hot enough to vape it properly, it doesn't 'crud up' an atty any more than VG or PG. If however you flood an atty with PEG it does take more work to clear it by tailpiping if you don't blow the atty out.

Well I tried peg yest but i had to keep the power on the atty a little longer to get vapour. It wasn't the best vapour and some went in my mouth it tasted like a burnt rubber band it was not pleasent. I'll stick to vg and pg

Well I use peg sometimes and yes it has a taste sort of but as for the vapor, peg-400 rivals 100% VG! I've never run my peg mix through my VV but it does rival my VG mixes at 3.3v. I bet at 4+v it's amazing! You may want to use a higher amount of flavor concentrate to hide the oily taste / feel. Also peg has a larger molecular structure so in theory it won't get lost in your body as much as pg (VG is in between both).

Well after discovering and correcting the mistake the Titan is vaping like a charm and I will be steering well clear of PEG-400

ah after a while you dont even notice and pick it up without thinking,. I was in Hamilton asda tonight and was vaping away going round. Probably go some looks but suppose just sparks their inquisitive mind. There was some amount of drunken bams around in the store mind you. Thats what happens when its sunny out i suppose. Strathy park was full of drunken teenagers as well was a bit of a pain in the ass but was a nice night for a wee walk

I've had much the same issue with one I bought last week online.
