DCT, general question(s)...

Hi, so I have a tornado ego-c. I am looking for a larger capacity tank option. I work 12 hour shifts and easily run through two of the standard 1.1ml tanks a day. Would a DCT be a good option for me? I basically want something to fill when I wake up and not have to tote around an extra tank or two. The only experience I have with cartomizers is with dreaded blucigs which I bought about a year and a half ago as my first e-cig. Those were always pre-filled (and lousy due to burnt taste after a very short time). Regardless, would the dual coil be something I should invest in? Also, they come with one cartomizer. Once that atty dies you just replace the carto? Or the entire tank? Would I be limited to only the replacement cartos that are specifically for the dct? How long do they typically last, the atty's that is? I'm trying to vape without spending a lot more than I have to. I have browsed through the first few pages of this section and these are questions that I've not seen. They may be found on pages 3-9 but I have neither the time or desire to spend hours looking (I just got off of that 12 hr shift I was talking about). I'm perfectly happy vaping with the ego-c as it is I am just hoping to find a better option than having to carry around extra supplies if it can be avoided. Any insight/advice is greatly appreciated. anyway yes the DCT is a great bit of kit. It takes either 3.5ml or 6ml of liquid and will last ages.

I to work 12 hour shifts and while i was using the tobacco flavours used the DCT as it lasted about 3-4 days heavy vaping with the 3.5ml tank although you might get more or less depending on how much you use it.

You have to fill the carto first then fill the tank so as long as you soak the carto in liquid from the word go. you shouldnt have any burnt taste unless it runs dry but this would only happen if there was an issue with the liquid getting into the carto which shouldn't happen.

Thicker liquids will also work less well on this due to there only being one hole in the side of the carto thats 1mm. Thicker liquid = harder to get it to run into the carto.

You just replace the carto and a pack of two is £5 i think im doing this from memory. So not hugely expensive and a little cheaper than the C attys.

pretty much limited to the cartos for the DCT unless you like modding things and get some old cartomizers and cut them and drill them. TBH your best just buying a few if your new to it then if you like it start playing around with modding.

I found typically I would get no less than 2 weeks per carto but i usually get them to last longer without having to do any maintenance on them

Also would buy a type B for my eGo if TW sold them.
I'm happy with my eGo-C for now until one of these or THE NEW BIG THING comes out. Jason said it was coming VERY soon!

Probably will be although I know as much as you. I presume dual coil with two holes in the car to maybe at .8 mm each to stop flooding

Well, I am truely a believer now! I think this is the absolute best thing I had bought or tried in my short experience vaping. I was using the standard ego-c atty and tank which I thought was great. Having now got this I could not be happier. This dct is smoother, the draw is lighter, the vapor is excellent, and I have not stopped smiling since I put it on. There is no words for the difference. I don't think I will ever look back from this. Happy vaping!

Glad you enjoy it mike and you won't have to keep filling it all the time. I would say the dct has been.the biggest step up for vaping since the ego c and i like where it is going. Just so many people love this kit its amazing
