What would cause the DCT to taste burnt even after priming the carto and making sure it stays wet?

it helps leaving it about 30 mins or so to really soak up as much liquid as it can. Other than that you usually find the best vape a day after filling as it has some time to absorb the flavour better

Kenneth,
Could the problem be caused from the coil coming uncoiled? When I look in the carto,I see that  there is a little metal piece that is kinda out of the hole and sitting on top of the wadding. I am thinking that could be the issue?
Thanks

That's the wire from the two coils. It sticks through the wadding and the middle straw a little. I'm sure that's normal as I can see mine but I works great still.

I have 2 DCT's(or I guess cartos), no matter how much I prime them, or fill them they still get a burnt taste after just a few draws. It's very noticeable, especially with the lemon and blackcurrant flavors I dedicated to them. I can't fugue it what the heck I am doing wrong? Huh

+1 to Rtsjr , apparently you can cut that wire to turn the carto into a single coil but I haven’t tested that out myself so can’t confirm that it works.
As to the burnt taste I can’t think of anything other than a relay good priming.

I want to try this very badly! Then crank my booster on it because one of these coils are 3ohms it should handle nicely.

Thanks guys, maybe the DCT's just run too hot for these flavors making them taste burnt?? Is that a problem with any flavors that anyone is aware of??

I've had one duel coil that never gave me a good hit. It sounded like what your describing. Constant burnt fast even though you have primed it and kept it wet. I think it might be a defect, the wadding might not be tight enough around the coils. I'm not completely sure. I never got interested in them enough to rip one down and analyze it.
