I'm getting 2 five-packs of these tomorrow in the mail. Glad I watched the video on the website, that way I know what you actually mean by "bung hole" and "condom". Otherwise.....I dunno.... Hopefully I'll have better luck that the OP, but you never know, I might have to fiddle with my wick.

Got my second batch of the new revised CE3'S. 5 out of 5 work like they should. I do notice that the wick is very visible in these new ones and goes up the tube at least 3/8 ths to 1/2". Excellent flavor, outstanding throat hit and not one of them leaked. I opened a new bottle of 30ml liquid and after filling them I blow any excess out into a seperate bottle so as not to loose any liquid everytime I fill them.
I was going to order the new EGO C but after reading all the complaints about them I will stick with my CE3"s.

Lots of vapor, though, on a Torpedo VVV at 3.7 volts, just not much taste. Then again, both liquids were of the light, fruity type. Perhaps I should try a dark tobacco style before passing judgement. Could someone recommend a sweet tobacco, 555ish TW e-liquid? Thanks for the welcome to the forum, too.

My favorite is 50% strawberry and 50% camel. Sweet and strong.

Thanks SMOKEYMASTER. I really never thought about mixing flavors before. However, I couldn't resist trying something, so I ordered some Cherry Cigar and also some Vanilla. Maybe I'll see how it goes and mix some of those two together.

YW. I tried the cherry flavor but did not like it at all. The strawberry has a nice sweet taste and when I vape in public places everyone comments on how nice it smells. Some say it smells like cotton candy

If this was towards me, just to clear up, I think the ce3's are absolutely amazing, when they work. I think I have tried 8 or 9 so far, and out of them, 3 have been perfect out of the box. A few have been great, but they wick like crap, and if you don't vape, put it down for a while, take 1 draw, put it down for a while, they taste burnt. And a few were just plain awful. I bought more of them, since the ones that do work I feel are worth it. I just made this post about the quality, and others seem to have the same idea. I wish they would all work out of the box. At this rate, (granted I have a very small test) only 30% of the ones I have tried have been good. Those 30%, I have to say, have been totally amazing, and I love them, and I haven't taken them off. 1 stopped working so well after a few weeks, but I feel like it lasted longer than acceptable, so that's no prob. 1 kinds started to fade, and since I have a few dozen, I decided to just open a new one instead of using one that wasn't 100% anymore. So those 2, were great. This third working one I've been using for a few days, zero issues with it, and again like the other 2, love it. I would just like to see more consistent quality.

Actually, it wasn't directed at you. My experience has been different. They seem to work, it's just that I'm not finding them very flavorful so far. And the wick remark was just a joke. Hope you'll take it that way. I just could not resist When I get my Cherry Cigar on Monday, maybe I'll get a better idea of how flavorful they can be. Then again, if SMOKEYMASTER is right about the taste, maybe I won't. Well, in any case, I'll keep experimenting!

my first 3 boxes of c3's worked wonderfully. so I ordered 3 more...so far the first two boxes (10) have all leaked and been worthless. A total waste of money. I have yet to try the third box. I am just so pissed of about them. they wasted my juice, and ruined two batteries... but CS was good, and took care of me...I love smoking the c3's, if they would just work right. TW must have gotten a bad batch of product...

Hey informal;
Are you blowing the excess liquid out of the center through the bottom after you refill them? Its really a must to keep them from leaking. After you fill it and put the bung back in and then remove the condom, put the tip back on and blow into the unit which will discharge through the bottom that attaches to the battery. I blow it into a napkin or paper towel. Then wipe the bottom clean before you attach it to the battery.

Yes, I blew out through the center hole into a tissue. I think the problem is that I can't seem to get the bung back in as firmly as it needs to be, using the supplied tweezers. Any suggestions?

Just wanted to update, while I do love the working ones, the consistency is still god awful... Has anyone, or will anyone look into this? The ones that work great are absolutely amazing, best tape I have ever had. But the inconsistency between them gets pretty frustrating.

Just recently got a few new packs... fill one up, nothing... just doesn't work. Fill another, works AMAZING for half a tank, then just stops producing vapor... When I first came to this site, I remember thinking "Damn, some of these vapors are cranky" but with this kind of inconsistency, I could see why. Please guys, I know I can't be the only one going through this, I am yet to have 5 work in a pack... We have to let TW know that the consistency is not good, otherwise nothing will ever be done about it.

I think its worth a mention definitely Im one of the few i think that still prefers cartomisers over any other atty system and to my knowledge its smoketech who make the vast majority of cartos. I have had very little trouble with these pretty much any smoketech product.
I dont know who makes the ce3s though, and i might be wrong, i think its Foyu tech.
Personally I like to stick to joyetech or smoketech as whatever I try just seems to work. but yes I think a pretty valid point is consistency is an issue it should be raised and worth a call to TW to highlight this hopefully with your comments taken on board and i hope you find a good vapour producing atty

Have to agree, no you're not the only one. Last week, 8 DCT's with single hole carto's bought. 8 double holed carto's for the DCT bought. Personally, I don't have the time to fill and test (where test properly is mess about and fill the carto then vape it for at least a few minutes to get it going) 16 cartomisers within two days of receipt, so I have to trust TW for good QC and a low number of duds. However, over the past week I've used six of them, three single holed and three double holed. One single holed one was a dud, not working to par (okay we know they have had issues), one of the double holed ones simply will not wick despite various remedial action to try and get it going, then another of them stopped working half way through the first DCT fill ... that's not really to my expectations of TW at all. If I want a rubbish failure rate I'd buy from somewhere else e.g. China. I've kept my mouth shut as I still have 10 to go through and I'm really hoping that all of them are okay. If they are, that's still around an 18% failure rate. The working ones are great, but I can see just what D4u2s0t is complaining about based on my own experience. The only solution is to not buy bulk, or dedicate one evening to testing them all out, but then how impractical is that when you consider the single cartomiser costs, the postage costs and lifespan of one of these things anyway?! I'd prefer to be able to trust TW and accept that there will be the odd one that slips through the net. I will be keeping an eye on the % failures over time as I buy them though. What would be a reasonable failure rate?!
