How often have you guys and gals been cold hitting these? I know my carto was well primed as it weeped out the little hole and the bottom hole at about the same time. I popped it in the tank and filled the tank took a small cold hit and could hear the juice in the carto, then fired it up, I got 4-5 good got vapes off it then boom burning taste. I never see air bubbles on a normal vaping hit.
To me it seems like mine is drawing in air almost to easy and not sucking more fluid into the cart, now if I take a few hard and sharp cold draws I then see the air bubbles, but I still get a slight burnt taste. I have to remove the tank from the battery and cover all the holes on the battery end of the tank to cut off the air flow and cold hit it more to get it to go away. I am vaping a 78%/22% pg/vg mix, so it shouldn't be too thick.
Is anyone else having an issues like this? As it is now I could never leave the house with this and use it, this is too much work just to get a good vape, at this point DDing is more efficient!!! Will this go away after a tank or two, is it just cause it is new?

I generally find they only need a cold hit if I have filled the tank a little too much. Is it possible that you've mistaken a properly primed carto for one that you've allowed liquid to drip down the center when priming, seen the liquid coming out of the bottom and thought it was good to go? In my experience they take patience to prime correctly and they benefit from being left to sit for at least 30 minutes after being filled. In the past I've burnt DC cartos by rushing the filling process and once they've been burnt, they always taste burnt imo but maybe I am just sensitive to the taste. Hope you get to the bottom of this little issue as these things are great

No I think it was well primed, I put like 50 drops in it over a 30-35 min period of time before it weeped out of both holes. The burnt taste goes away after I wrap the end and cold hit it hard. Then after a few more pulls, it will come back, and I never see air bubbles come out of the hole unless I cold hit it hard.

Sounds like you've primed it correctly... Im sorry I cant be of more help, I've had no real problems with feeding liquid. The very first carto did seem to get through less liquid than the one I used in the 6ml tank but it never really tasted burnt.
Perhaps the hole in the carto isnt as big as it should be, you could try opening it up a little and see if it helps but I would speak with customer services first as that probably voids any warranty.

I had this with my first one but after removing the drip tip & bung, topping the cart up once or twice everything works great now.

Hi all,
when I find vape dropping off (not very often) indicating the carto might need a secondary priming , I have discovered the following works.
Please note I use a Ming tip not the metal one supplied.
I hold the device by the battery in my left hand, I grip the tank between my right hand forefinger and thumb, ensuring the little hole is submerged I move the tank up and down (like priming an old primus or blow lamp), I notice that air bubbles come out of the hole so it indicates fluid has entered. You will have to experiment to get the speed right, even at very slow rate I see the bubble of air coming out of the hole.
On trying it I find it has indeed primed the lower end of the carto.
