First time with an e-cig was about 2 years ago. A friend had bought a cheap super mini and let me try it. I loved the idea but it was on a night of heavy drinking so I forgot all about it until I was at a local shopping center about a month ago and e-cigs were being sold there so I picked up the starter pack and here I am.

Jumped on the forum, asked about for the next logical step in terms of kit and liquid and now I am sittin with a Ego-C passthrough with DCT, a Titan Tank and im mixin my own liquid.

It was a long journey from the first one til now, but im glad I got there.

Self Abuse to Self Improvement
Casey Annis

I had been smoking since I was fourteen years old and now at the tender age of 31 I had decided to make a life change.  Smoking was probably a bad idea from the start since I was a severe asthmatic and I was constantly in and out of the hospital with pneumonia as a but I wanted to be cool around my friends.   So here I am now at 32 feeling better than I have in years and I can pinpoint the exact reason.

That reason starts almost two years ago when I bought my first disposable e-cig as an alternative to standing outside in the freezing cold on a business trip. I had bought one of the Titan 510 units with some pre-filled carts.  I have to admit the flavor of the tips was not very pleasant and it almost turned me off of the devices all together. It would have if not for one of the students in the class I was teaching.

My now friend, Jason, saw that I was struggling a bit with the 510 and the purchased carts and offered to refill a couple of my empties with some of the e-liquid he was carrying with him.

I was a complete noob and I had no idea that you could refill these things let alone with a better tasting alternative.  Jason had a Joye-tech Tornado Tank and some DIY juice that was dynamite.

It was Jason and his refilling that honestly saved my health and gave me not just one but two healthy alternatives in a single blow.

Not only have I been a miserable self-hating asthmatic smoker but I am also a sweets loving diabetic.   These two habits in combination with each other were not only making me miserable but also leaving me feeling under the weather.

Jason had cinnamon sweet roll  flavored e-liquid and it was like a light bulb went off in my brain. It was sweet, buttery, and had loads of cinnamon flavor and it didn't make my blood sugar go through the roof after enjoying it all afternoon.  SOLD!

It was then that I decided to make the switch to self-refilling from juice vendors online. I had bounced all over the net from vendor to vendor before I came to TW but this is where I have stayed the longest.

I shy away from the full on tobacco flavors much like any addict avoids the flavors that trigger cravings and I stick with my dessert or beverage flavors.

Since my blood sugar is under control and I am no longer what I would call a smoker I have been more energetic, in a much better mood and I have been out and about exercising and living better as well.

I've lost 60lbs and 4 pants sizes, probably not directly attributed to e-cigs, as a result of the increase energy and exercise.  I'm even wearing tank tops in public now that my moobs aren't my most prepossessing feature.

I'm not a perfect being and sometimes I still crave and even more rarely sneak in an analogue even though I know I should not do so.   Let's just say I have one very small existing vice that I am working on a day at a time.

Two Years Ago   & One Year Ago

The first time I tried an e-cig (vaporiser) was about 6 years ago.  I was in a bar in Northampton (I think... it was very long ago, I was very drunk, and there was loud music) and I was just standing around as I usually do in clubs (looking very cool to myself, and to everyone else that was not paying any attention to me).  I was the only smoker in my group of friends, and I believe this was before the smoking ban was in force.  My friend runs (yes, I'm pretty sure he actually ran) up to me with something in his hand.  "Look!" he said in a loud excited voice like a child that just found something shiny on the floor.  "Check this out, it's a fake cigarette!"  He had struck up a conversation with a guy who was using a first generation electronic cigarette, managed to obtain it (I never asked how), and bought it over to me, with the owner in tow, looking as confused as I was.  "Try it!" he said.  I assumed he had asked the guys permission, and that the owner didn't have any orally transmitted diseases (his face looked clean, even if he wasn't most attractive guy I'd ever seen), so I took a puff.  A couple of things went through my mind as I sucked on the new-found technology... was this from a joke shop, a toy cigarette created for kids so they could try and look cool without killing themselves slowly thoughout the rest of their lives? ...and what cocktail of illegal drugs had I just inhaled?  I nodded in approval to my friend and his new friend, mainly to just make them both go away and leave me alone so that I could come to terms with the pink elephant that I was sure was about to appear in front of me.  Alas, there was no pink elephant, and no side effects at all.  However, it wasn't until about 2 years later that I read about the new electronic cigarette in the news and decided I should try one.  I looked online and came across TECC, and bought my own one.  I actually regressed for a bit when I ran out of cartridges for it, but I remembered how great it was.  18 months later I bought my first Titan from Totally Wicked, and haven't looked back since.

First time I used an ecig was about 5 months ago.

It was handed to me by my friend Valroc. I had a cheeky vape on it, and thought "oh! That nice. No horrible taste"
I continued to smoke analogues for a further 2 months (stupid me!) and then I decided to buy my own kit.
I think half the fun was choosing all the bits online!
So it arrived. I remember carefully following all instruction and filling it up (a Titan ENic Kit) I remember the first few vapes on it. I was like "WOW!" I remember not being able to understand how it gave me a throat hit, as it wasnt an analogue. People around me wernt bothered by it which was a major thing. It didnt leave my hand for days!
Since then Ive been attacked by a serious condition called "Shiny Syndrome" and have purchased an egoC a Scredriver and a Torpedo - I love them all!.

Best vape for day to day is my eGo C. - LOVE IT!

Ooh go on then. I made a New Years resolution to at least try to cut down, and a mate recommended I try the new fangled electronic cigarette. Not from his own experience, that was the blind cheek of his recommendation, but his colleague had one. I didn't have a clue what to buy but by chance I came across a vid on you tube by a reviewer, who seemed to rate the 901. Talk about blind faith, I bought a nice looking little silver 901 from a young TW. Mind you, I panicked big time that I didn't have real tobacco cigarettes in the house, because just a day after my 901 appeared in the post, I drove out to the supermarket in a snow blizzard with roads that you couldn't see to buy a pack of ten. I sat in a steamed up car with the snow piling down and lit up. Instead of the expected blissful euphoria at the first drag, I got a kind of disappointed nicotine top-up in my blood and a yakky taste. Which was the point at which I realised that those things, even the decent early models, actually worked. So I stuck at it for the few days it took to drop the lighting-up habit.   Grin

I stopped smoking after moving back from Belgium (cheap cigs) to the UK (very expensive cigs) almost 2 years ago. I lasted about 5 months before starting to have the odd cig at crazy UK cig prices. The craving for nicotine was there the whole time I had stopped smoking especially during a stressful situation or having a drink.

After going through a few packs and seeing how much I was spending I thought there has to be a better way. I remembered a friend in Belgium mentioning about electronic cigarettes, I couldn't remember the name (and still can't) but did some googling on e-cigs and eventually came across TECC and placed an order for a Tornado starter kit. I was sold, the tornado kept me going for about 6 months but I never really got on with the attys.

I moved on to the Titan, attracted by the fact that I could see how much liquid was in the tank but didn't realise how low powered it was. Shortly after getting the Titan I found TW and the forum and started reading learning and reading some more. It was around that time the Torpedo came out and I thought that is the device for me, so I got the VVV and a 6ml dual coil tank which was a match made in heaven. I still use the Titan if I need to be subtle but it has nothing on the Torpedo. A couple of weeks ago I started mixing my own juice after doing some sums and realising I could be saving 75% on juice if I make it up myself. And here I am.

Wow, thanks racy! I didn't expect that. It's a very nice surprise as I have my car in the garage today and am expecting a £££ bill.  Cheesy

Hello everyone, this is my first post. Well my first time was back in 2010 when I tried the e lite they had on sale at my local shopping centre I really like the idea as I wanted to ditch the analogues and well what a complete disappointment it was Bradley any vapour and the battery run flat after just a few uses £58 down the drain! Then a few weeks back I tried the new e lites from the local shop they produced more vapour and I thought I should give it another go and was ok for the first few days then realised its was going to cost a fortune with the cartomisers £7.99 for two and I was getting through one a day. I really did not want to go back to the analogues so looked around the net and found Totally Wicked looked for my nearest shop on the site and found one just a few miles away. So I dropped by and tried the Tornado Tank for the first time and was sold in it straight away I love it not had a analogue in a couple of weeks now and not even wanted one in that time I know now I won't ever got back to the stinkys again. I'm looking forward to trying all the different flavours and types of product TW have to offer. Well done to the Totally Wicked team I will be recommending anyone that wants to start vaping to start here. Thanks
