Do you have any further news on the proposed e-cig (nicotine) ban?

What a bunch of bureaucracy! Anything to keep small business down. God forbid if these mega tobacco companies lose a buck or two.

I agree Landon, anything healthy they want to take away. I hope that they are unable to ban it. Otherwise they will start banning it all over the place.

Considering this thread is a year old, I don't think there's anything to worry about any more  Wink

Even though it is a year old there are still several states trying to ban e-cigs including NY right now so this may be old but they have not given up the fight against it yet. Not to mention other countries who have banned it so we are not out of the woods yet, not even close.

Good point.  The bans may be harder to implement now that the FDA has decided to regulate as tobacco products, but still could happen.  I'm hopeful that acceptance becomes more widespread

I know I won't give up. I'm never letting go of my tornado. Unless I can be caught. I'm like a ninja. I'll be ok but I'm going to fight the fight with you all anyway. Let's see the day they ban these. I'll buy gallons of nic and supplies and sell it out of my basement. Hehehe I'll make a furtune.
Don't take my idea either lol.

LOL there are already a ton of vendors living your idea Rtsjr ...... throw a side order of Chinese manufacturing practices in the mix and you have a valid reason why the FDA is so concerned..... just two of many concerns.  Roll Eyes

I agree with Astrecks.  They are simply going to tax us.  Then that's double revenue.  From smokers and vapors Grin

Its the same with everything, find a loophole in the law ... the g'ment cover it up, and find some excuse to tax the item.

Yep - it's far more likely that they'll tax them rather than ban them. Could be time to stock up on plenty of juice Smiley

Taxation is most likley inevitable! They will warp it in too the sin tax somehow, just like other things that are deemed nonessential or recreational. I think a stress management angle could be tried, if it has not already bien. lol "if only, if only the woodpecker sighed".
