Well my new eGo-c arrived today and have to say, I like it   Grin  and my early impressions are very good. The whole thing looks and feels to have good build quality, plus The TW logo is now far more discreet (No bad thing IMO Wink)

The new funky battery functions aside, (Which are excellent IMO, but yet to see if the colour change works) the C seems to be a definite step forward from the previous tank atty design.
After unpacking it, charging a battery and popping the little atty in place, all it took was one cold draw and the atty was fully primed.
I used one of my existing tanks that I had already filled with lime zinger, and it fitted perfectly.
First vape, and there was none of that nasty primer fluid taste you got with the old style ones, it just worked and worked very well straight away.  Nice easy draw, good vapour, TH and taste, so now I'm looking forward to trying some more flavours with it  Wink

Will just have to see how well these little atties stand the test of time  Undecided  But so far so good,  and I'm very pleased with the new addition to my vaping armoury    Smiley

Good to hear you are liking it Tids, nearly 24hrs in with my Ego-C and i am over the moon still.

I also am interested in the life of the Atomizers. 5 for £20 is nice value for money as long as they dong die out after a week Cheesy

Would it be possible to clean these like the old atomizers you think ?

Don't see why not Dugie. Should be easy enough to give them a little flush trough. As for taking one apart for a dry burn. Well, Ill give that a try, but not until one shows signs of needing it  Wink

No idea about cleaning, but mines still going strong w/o out it. Undecided  Well, it's not vaping like brand new or anything.... but my second coil assy is still in the blister pack, and I'm still loving the "C", so that ought to tell you something.  I think you're going to find these attys outlast the standard and mega tank attys.  Mine seems to be anyway. It's not hard to take the atomiser apart to re-wick it, clean it, or dry burn it.... Actually a lot easier to do then the previous tank atomiser design.

The spike assembly pops right out with a jewelers screwdriver.

Good to hear that Nick  Smiley  and if these last as long as my original tank atties, I shall be more than happy ..... See the face >   Cheesy   as two of my originals are still performing pretty dam well, even after nearly ten weeks  Cool (Granted, they have had a little internal maintenance though)

There is one thing that occurs to me. I wonder if I will need to be more vigilant about not letting the tanks run dry?  I say this because these new atties don't have the reserve reservoir mesh the old style had, which gave a bit of a safety net  Undecided

My Ego C has been delivered to next door and they are currently out shopping. Even worse, it was bought as a Xmas present so I am being told that it is to be wrapped and not opened until Xmas day morning!

I am itching to play with it NOW!

Yes, you will.... and no, you won't. Huh   True, these things don't have much in the way reserve.  I highly recommend you keep a closer eye on the level in your cart.  I say this because I didn't the other day. Cheesy  Fortunately there's a built in safe-guard for you if you're not paying attention..... in that if you let the cart go dry the atty will let you know about it........ it will taste like @#$%!   And that brings me back to the "no, you won't" statement above.  If, like me, you're easily distracted by..... well, anything really...... and you let your "C" run dry and trigger the built-in atty safeguard (horrible burnt taste), unlike all the other tank attys I've ever used, once you've provided a juice supply to the atty again, the burnt taste dissipates almost immediately and doesn't tend to come back as easily as it does with the other tanks.  YMMV.  I look forward to your letters. Cheesy

Got my Ego-C this morning, along with an air freshner i think lol, First impressions of the Ego-C are pretty good, its well made, finish is slightly better than the Ego-T, About 2cm longer than the Ego-T. First vape was Titan RY4 and im quite shocked, its smoother and more taste than the Ego-T its replaced, but its still new so that might change once its worn in (i hope it doesnt i like it now), Everything just feels good, Also the logo on these is alot better, nice and discreet and not so in your face and probably the best feature for me, is the Battery locking, press the button 5 times to disable the battery, and 5 to unlock it - will save me from activating it in my jeans/trouser pocket every now and then. Big thumps up from me, Joyetech and TW have brought us a  well another top product, lets hope it doesnt devolop some of the problems from its brother.

Also the Ego-T/Tornado-T is a little obsolete in terms of new users buying one in my eyes, ill be pushing the Ego-C onto anyone whos interested, ive had 3 full tanks through it and the Atty head seems to be evolving, getting more taste and more vapour the more its used, its odd, and as i say the Quality seems overall a step ahead - Also a nice little touch, the Atomizer heads have the TW Devil etched on them, kinda pointless as you dont see it, but nice none the less.

Pretty much agree with all these reviews. The only thing i'd like to point out is I find the draw a lot tighter than the Tornado-T. Not a problem for me but I feel it should be noted.

I find the opposite to the Ego-t, its like sucking a golf ball through a hose pipe, where as the C is looser and easier to take a longer draw, But in saying that, it could be down to each atty and tank combo etc.

I've been using the ego c for over a week now and my impressions are that these are much better in flavor and vapor and throat hit. Definitely they are easier to clean as you don't have to dig inside the cone to pop out the metal plate although I admit I have not had the urge to clean them as of yet.
All in all, the ego c is an improvement from both a vaping standpoint and maintenance standpoint and finally a cost standpoint.
I hated throwing out the old atomizers with the cones before it seemed like such a waste.

Hiya Hiigy, the new atties for the 'C' are not 501's or 510's but are a Tank Atty with replaceable 'head' (Which uses a 510 thread Cheesy). I have had over 60ml of juice through a standard eGo-C 'head' before it started getting a bit tight on the draw, so I swapped heads and rinsed the original one through....2nd head is still going strong so haven't tried the rinsed through head yet. over 60ml of juice through an atty that costs four quid? I think thats pretty good comparatively.

What led you to rinse? Bad taste, leaking? or other?

I know Knoton!

I was hoping for a sneaky go with it but it comes sealed in cellophane!

I asked if we could charge it before wrapping it back up, so that at least I could use it first thing on Xmas morning, that plan was regected too.

2.5 more days......

Really wish I cold get my hands on one, but will have to wait a few more weeks. Am so looking forward to the new year, just to see how these compare to my titan tank. Just so much torture reading all the reviews and seeing how people are getting on with them, am sure the wait will be worth it.

OK here are Joyetech's official atomizer cleaning recommendations for the eGo-c. Taken from the manual which can be downloaded here >>>> http://www.joyetech.com/board/ngnboard_view.php?bid=manual&bno=9&page=1

And It would appear they advocate dry burning the coil with the wick in place. Although removing the wick plate is dead easy if you want to.......Yeah I couldn't resist trying and it was a doddle  Wink
