DV Absinthe is the ultimate vape flavour :-)

Great review Knoton.

I have been using the Ego-C since the the day after they was placed on sale by TW.

The only thing i would like to mention is about dedicating an atomizer head for specific flavours. As you mentioned the taste from plavours dissapears really quickly so i do not feel this is needed. I can go from doppio espresso to cherry and within the first 6 vapes the doppio has gone.

Great piece of kit the Ego-C i love it Smiley

Dug

Thanks Dug  Grin
You are so right, since flavours dont seem to stay in the atty at all I will use one atty until it dies.
Or maybe two on regular and one lr.

One thing for sure ... I certainly wouldn't be putting any oil or grease on the threads. That will just increase electrical resistance and attract and catch even more dust  Shocked

You could use some Noalox though.  That would improve the electrical connection, but would still attract dust and dirt, as you said tids. Smiley

I just think I will remember to clean it every now and then. that seems to do the trick  Grin

I stated earlier that it after 27 days gave the flavour a slight harsh feeling,
It just occured to me on another thread that this very experience I call harsh feeling in the throat.
Someone else might had said: After 27 days the throat hit got even better  Cheesy

I have just got my brand new kit of Tornado-C  Grin
It was in a lovely black box containing:
2 batteries
2 cones
2 atomizerhousings
1 strip containing 5 regular atomizer heads
1 High speed USB charger
1 Main charger
5 empty tanks
5 extra tank caps
2 protected mouthcovers
1 bag for the kit.

I also bought 1 extra strip of regular atty  heads and 1 strip of Low resistance atty heads.
I assembled one kit with the lr head being very curious how it would work.
ehrm... ehrm.. cough cough cough... erhm.. erhm.... my throat did not agree with those lr atties at all!
At least not when I have Absinthe @15 flavour in the tank.
So I put a regular in it and it was pure vaping heaven again  Grin

Thanks for the heads up on the LR atties Smiley  Don't think I'll be bothering with those myself. Like you I find the standard atties are just right.

Oh btw, that box of five empty tanks actually has 5 tobacco flavoured tanks in it  Smiley  Well mine did anyway  Wink

It's funny to look back on how much we all used to rely on the taste of tobacco;
it's a flavour I don't care for at all now.   Smiley

i went off tobacco flavours about 4 months into vaping  three years ago,  didnt vape any for about a year,  now back on state express, and have been ever since the year off.   Only vape one flavor continuously with just a touch of apple occasionally when the flavour vanishes.  Dont really care about changing flavours just as long as the throat hit is there,   guess that makes me lucky,  dont have to worry about changing different flavours all the time or trying any new ones Grin  or maybe that just makes me boring  Undecided  lol

Tried the tobacco that came with the C and did not like it...I also thought they were empty carts....but the box is wrong....

Have to agree with Puffs earlier post about the old craving for tobacco ...... never thought I would want anything else....but since trying other flavours I just don't like anything tobacco flavoured....

I could quite happily just vape a couple of flavours...kola kisses and lime zinger and not bother with anything else....but I am just interested in finding something that I may like better....but don't seemto be having much luck....have been away from home mostly over the past couple of weeks and only taken DV Premixed Kola with me.....yep...in yet another soulless Travelodge tonight :-(

Could be that because the C has made my two favourites even better this in itself has added a bit of a change....

As for the LR's....from what Knoton says it seems like its worth sticking to the standard attys....as the performance very good and maybe there is no need to venture into trying the LRs...? Maybe if you could buy individually as a trial ?

Anyway.......probably getting boring now,so going to stop here  Smiley

I have been trying old flavours I have not tried for a long time in my new c atty.
Flavours I have not like before.
DV Tiramisu is very lovely in it  Cheesy
I dont know if I just got the taste back for it or if it is the c atty that makes me love it.
Doesnt matter, I will just enjoy it  Cheesy

I have been testing out old flavours.
And It looks like the C atty is excellent doing so. Old flavours dissapear fast.
I just put 2 drops directly into it and been using a tankless cart as a tip.

One of my atty heads started to give me a harsh flavour.
I tried to blow it out, wiped it clean and so on nothing worked.
So I decided to try the cleaningmethod with burning it.

I tailpiped it until there was almost no more vapour coming out from it.
I activated the battery without drawing on it looking into the atties spike a few seconds.
Blowing the smoke away  so I could see the wick.
I repeated this 3-4 times and then I prime the attyhead with 2 drops of juice.
I vaped on it and the harsh flavour was still where so I repeated above once again.
After priming the atty again the harsh flavour was gone  Cheesy

I am not sure if this was a atty being used since the first review kit or one from the kit I bought for 2 weeks ago.
I have 3 atties going at the same time, two of them are 8 weeks old and one is 2 weeks old.
Sorry I lost track of which atty was first and not.

Hi Kenneth, I'm so pleased that you're starting to enjoy some flavours at last... the -C is the best for flavour of everything I've tried so far, including the old smokeys which come a close second IMHO ( In My Humble Opinion)  Wink
Have you tried an old smokey on your eGo-C short-protected battery at all? I'm still a little nervous about it since the pre-release -C kit we had for review didn't have the battery low charge warning, I thought it might still be risky. I couldn't resist the mega passthrough -C battery so I'm keeping that for smokeys, but to be honest I'm not too interested in vaping with anything but the -C atties since I first had it, as the flavour etc is so good.

I have not used anything else but the c-atty since I got the review package, except in the begining when comparing them side by side.
So I have not tried the old evil smokys on a C-Battery.
In fact I have no idea what to do with all my other kinds of atties at all!

Congratulations on your hero award  Cheesy Well deserved!  Cheesy
