Ok so I got my dual coil tank yesterday and i have to say I am very impressed. The flavour is not quite as strong as i am used to out of these but absolutely no burnt taste and no lack of vapour. Also a very lovely Strong hissing, crackling off the coils which is a great healthy sound for a cartomizer, means its heating up well.

Construction is excellent, strong yet simple, elegant yet intricate. I for one LOVE it.

How simple is a plastic tube with two end caps and a carto running up the middle. Now the finish on this could have been awful yet it isn't. If I had any criticism, it would be that the plastic tank has a little dot where it has been taken out the mould. But for the price its a very very minor criticism. The metal ends are lovely, the plinth lovely and the mouthpiece a wonderful piece of machined metal. Maybe not to all girls taste but I know for guys machined metal is just sooooo nice.
So construction is awesome and I really am happy with this.

Like I mentioned before this is made up of several sections which all come to bits for cleaning which I LOVE again.

The mouth piece comes out
The white silicone bung thats in the carto under the mouth piece(to stop fluid running into your mouth from the carto) comes out
push down on the carto where the mouth piece was and now you can slide the carto out
Once thats out you have an empty tank
you can now pull off the two metal ends

Same again to fill these its amazingly simple so im not sure why anyone is having issue

Take the metal cartomizer with filler in it.
Get your fav liquid and fill the carto slowly and steadily it will eventually start to either come out the the end of the carto or the hole in the side.
Now once its coming out the ears of the cartomizer you know its filled.
take your tank with the metal caps all pushed tightly together. and shove the carto right through the middle of the tank untill it wont go any further.
get your liquid again and start to pour it in between the tank and carto now and the tank will fill up nicely
Once its about 2mm from the top of the tank
Take your white silicone bung and pop that into the carto so it is covering the polly wool preferably with the flatter side of the bung facing up.
Then take your fav mouthpiece or once supplied and push it in the carto making sure the black seal is not visible on the mouthpiece.

Now there is lots of liquid on the coils it will vape lovely

If you want to swap out liquids and cartos while the tank is filled have a spare dropper and bottle then just pop off the mouth piece leave in the white bung, push the carto down then pull it almost all the way out so the top is just above the black seal on the bottom of the tank. then just pour out your liquid into your spare bottle or use the dropper to take it out.

This way you dont have to waste any.

Even if the tank moves up or down on the carto it should not be leaking as the liquid will not go passed the seals on these tanks they are very good.

I have notice you really only want to screw these on while holding the plastic tank this stops you over tightening it and then struggling to get it off. These really dont need to be screwed on TIGHT!! lol

Also people say this is a very light draw compared to the tank systems, this is down to the fact it uses a drip top so a much bigger hole to draw through and if you dont use the white silicone bung in the carto the draw will also be lighter due to no restriction on air coming through the carto.

If you dont like the metal drip tip maybe try a mouth piece that you like as the DC tank is very good and very customizable to work how you want it to yet like i said very simple in construction and design, IT JUST WORKS.

Worst thing about these is which colour to buy lol  Cool

Hi Kenneth,

They are a great device, possibly the best piece of kit I have bought. No consistency issues, cheap cartos that last a good while and absolutely no leakage, I am brutal with mine and have not lost a drop.

Some people have been having issues with them but personally they have been pretty much flawless for me, perhaps because I am well used to using the 510 XL DCs or perhaps because I vape a high PG mix.

I managed to bag a torpedo today at 45% off so I am looking forward to stuffing a triple coil carto in the tank to see how that works on it, might need to add another feeder hole though, time will tell.

If you have a stash of 510 DC cartos then they can be reworked for use in the DCT quite easily (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlDoEZtQaBQ). Even if you don't have a stock right now, if they make it into the yoyo at some point it might be a chance to to grab some cheap cartos if you're happy swapping the outer cylinder over.

Or syringe it out or pop off the top cap and pour it out.  Personally I syringe, only takes a second and no mess.

Worst thing about these is which colour to buy lol  Cool

Thats easy... buy them all Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm impressed too- definitely the best product so far.  my only complaint is that the cartomizers are not consistent.  i've had some that work right off and last for days at full steam.  others don't burn well right from the start.  others have trouble wicking the liquid- i've sometimes been able to remedy this by poking the end of a syringe into the hole in the cartomizer, but not always.  if the cartomizers worked consistently well then i would have no complaints at all.  i'm hoping the makers are working on this.  but they are cheap enough that it is not too huge of an issue.   Smiley

I agree - I've had consistency issues, but thankfully this board if full of lots of people who try lots of things to surmount problems.

Since adding a few drops to the top of the carto every couple of hours these things haven't let me down. 'Every couple of hours' relates only to my personal vaping style - it's not a rule of thumb.

On the whole flavour doesn't equal CE3/Ego C. Vapour production is best of any device I've tried this past 6 months  and throat hit is fantastic with ejuice over 15mg. Overall, fantastic!

Only down side is that I need to buy a couple more tanks - not so easy to change flavours with these bad boys...

I am well impressed with the DCT as well, however I maybe doing somthing wrong as my juice (PG) is leaking out of the battery connection end, I am using with a Buzz Pro and the vapour and flavour is good but I have this issue, any suggestions?

Not doing anything wrong andypimm I would suggest though that it could be 1 of two things

The cartos pollywool filler isnt very thick at the bottom so when the eliquid is absorbed through the hole its running down and not getting soaked up with the wool therfore ending up in your battery. You might possibly be inhaling too hard on it also. When you inhale if you see bubbles coming up from the hole in the carto through the liquid that means its taking in eliquid. If its happening all the time its taking in more than you vape hence your left with some running off.

Also it could be simply your liquid if its a high PG mix it will be thin. Too thin means easier to go through the hole and run out the bottom. If this is the case try adding just a tad more VG to thicken it up for the tank,

I'm only guessing with this, but I would say if you haven't vaped it completely dry, there
shouldn't be any need to re-prime. Probably best wait for someone who knows for definite though Wink

Okay thanks was thinking shouldnt need to reprime unless smoked completely dry anyhow as the cartomiser seems to be sufficiently moist all the time anyways, and plus if i keep liquid in the tank it should never get dry in theory anyhow just wasnt too sure
Thanks for ya help

Spooky, just bought these as well! I am assuming they work with a standard ego-c battery, else will need to buy a twist? Let me know, thanks.

They are specifically designed to be used on non-variable voltage batteries such as the Tornado eGo, so no, you don't have to buy a Twist battery Wink
