My King Kong Drip Tips arrived today. They are great having a large enough hole to make dripping a breeze. Being acrylic they don’t heat up burning my lips as sometimes happened with my favourite stainless steel Ming tip. The pictures don’t do them justice

Nice one cyborg u found the acrylic better at preventing heat transfer as well which was one of the main reasons I switched

Yes Kenneth I really like the look / feel of my stainless ming tip but it could get hot after a nice chain vape. DDing at 4.5v with no heat transfer at all using the King Kong. I had to mod the previous TW acrylic tips as the hole was not big enough but I am happy with the King Kong’s The white one has a nice pearlescent look to it that doesn’t show up in the photo. They are a nice snug fit so will stop a DCT sliding off the carto.

Awesome... thanks Cyborg,
I was waiting to hear about these before I decided to get one.. I wasn't sure about the acrylic tips since I love the look and feel of the steel and aluminum tips.
On the Torpedo with a de-bridged atty the tips gets pretty warm on long sessions so I think I will put in an order or two for the acrylic KK tips.. They look funky!

Update. My KK tips are not as snug a fit as I first thought, in fact I will go as far as to say the two I have are loose fitting on everything apart from the first DCT I used one on. They are still nice to use but I felt it necessary to retract my snug fit comment. I would be interested to see what others think as I intend to order some more of them.

I bought some the other day and I'm using it on a DCT and if anything I find it a little to tight.

Strange I know this is impossible but I could swear one has shrunk, wonder if I damaged the O-ring. Still chain vapeing on it & no hot lips so all is well.

awesome scot hope you dont have any more trouble. I did think thought it could have been a flawed one when moulded so with heat its just exacerbated the issue causing it to shear off. Chances are probably quite slim of this happening unless its a specific colour that weakens the plastic but with all manufacturing it will happen eventually. Just sucks when its you that gets it, or in my case it is usually me lol.
Anyway keep us updated on how you go and hope you have no more problems enjoying you KK drip tip

Yeah fingers crossed this one will be fine, I was gutted when it broke and I had to go back to using the standard alu trip tip that comes with the DCT and I was shocked at how it changed the flavour and im not back on a plastic tip and it's changed back lol

I just got mine a few days ago. They can be stiff to snap in but with a little gentle persuasion then it goes in fine . I love it!! A great drip tip. I may have to get a few more .

+Facepalm ..
I had some of the King Kong tips on order .. I put it in . applied some credit and promptly shipped them to the wrong address. *doh*..
So now I have to go pick them up at a friends house 60miles away. I sent my friends a couple of Ego-C sets for their birthdays and never changed the shipping address back to my place.

O have recovered my shipment and I now have my King Kong #1 Acrylic Drip Tip ... man that thing is beastly.. I took a lot of work to get it in the cartomizer but the feel of the tip is almost luxurious..
I am very impressed.

I got 2 delivered today. Wrestled on the floor for half an hour, used a mallet, borrowed a friends vice grip, and ran over it in a lorry, but finally got it in! (Still got the second one to go..!).
Doesn't look like the trendiest thing ever but it sure is comfy!

just call tw as these shouldnt be snapping easily and they would no doubt like to know about any and all that do so it can be fed back to the manufacturer

+1 Kenneth
Definately needs feeding back, TW will really want to know about this issue! I would love a KK drip tip but I think I'd struggle fitting it, which is why I'm hanging back from buying one.

TBH iv had a few regular ones which are hard to fit. Basically the o ring is thicker than the carto so you struggle to get it on. Best thing to do is put a few drops e liquid on the o ring then push it in. one side will go on then just twist the drip tip round and round until it goes on. It will then go on.
