Hi all, Here Is my unboxing of the Tornado-T This system uses a E-liquid tank built into the cartridge and a special atomizer, and therefore does not need constant topping up! It is going to be sold by Totally Wicked. I received the product free for review purposes! (Thanks go out to Jason and Alex for giving me the chance to test the product) You will have to excuse If I look like the living dead ha-ha!, I was up at 00.30 for work, and it was 14.30 when got home to do video! Will do follow up video tomorrow of the first 12hours or so usage etc! (probably looking even worse?) Also included a couple of photo`s! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxqfxAp8350

The opaque black whistle tip is something I wasn't expecting, that's a nice touch!
I first thought that it would mean one would have to pull the tank to see how full it is but I think one should be able to tell that easily enough just by how it vapes.
As you are using/testing it, I would be curious to know how much the tank leaks, or doesn't as the case may be, when it has been used in an atty but then removed for when one might one to vape another flavor for a bit. I see they do come with caps that can be used to seal them more reliably but I am curious as to how well they hold the juice without a cap.

Looks fantastic - can't wait for these to come in. I think the 5 click switch off is a brilliant idea too

Thanks for the video! I'm surprised it didn't come with a 0mg tank as it seems many started kits do but that's only a surprise, not a disappointment. I'm really hyped about the tank system being available at TW and I look forward to hearing about your experiences with it.

Thanks for posting.
Glad to see they're shipping with the USB charger and wall wart, finally. The disable function was sorely needed. Wish all the Tornado batts had that.
Looking forward to your impressions after you've been using it a while.

Great video! The tank looks awesome. I can't wait to see your follow-up video to see how it vapes and how it's working out for you.

...The disable function was sorely needed. Wish all the Tornado batts had that... Too true Craig. When I saw the disable function demonstrated on the vid my first response was "meh, I never put my PV in my pocket". Then I remembered all the times other pieces of kit my my case have landed on the battery buttons and set them off, and thought "what a great idea!" Schizophrenia can be so much fun!

Well so far so good! First tank lasted me 5 hours of heavy review kind vaping haha ! Just refilled with my favourite juice and will empty that by time get home so can show cartridge better on video. I would have preferred clear carts to save having to keep checking level of juice, but if it going last probably 6 or more hours of normal vaping shouldn't be to much trouble having occasional glance? Besides the usual condensation on the cartridge when checking level no leaks so far! Will do video update later today :-)

Do the tanks seem to reseal fairly well when removed from the atty?
It seems that they also have a rubber end cap that is removed before use similar to a 510 cart having a silicone rubber cap, is that true?
If they reseal at least somewhat without capping, changing flavors while one is not out and about or otherwise active but if they also have caps to help hold the juice in after having been placed in the atty, that would make quick changes even easier.
Speaking of, can you please try changing flavors to see how much carry-over there is?
I normally have 5 or 6 cartos that I swap around after 5 to 10 puffs on any one of them so if the tanks can give me the same ease of use, that would be great!

They don't reseal as such, but the juice doesn't come pouring out when you take the cart off. once the new cart is pierced by the atomizer then the hole is always there, but it not over large. You are right in that they come with rubber caps like cartomizers, so not a problem for carrying around. when pierced the juice doesn't come out if just checking level or if you want to swap carts for example, but you would need to cap for transporting purposes! As for flavour change, I have just changed from the stock juice that came in cart to my usual tornado juice and was only a few vapes before could taste change. Obviously if you got 2 totally contrasting favours the changeover would be like with any atty more gradual ? I will try a coffee flavour later in week then go back to a tobacco flavour for you, and let you know results :-) Hope this helps, and will try and show carts and rubber caps in video later today. I will also put some photos again after video.

Thanks for taking one for the team mufftrix. I know it must be rough being one of the first to go hands on with the TTank , but you're doing a good job of it.

That helps very much! Thank you! It would be a bit much to hope that they would totally reseal after their first use but it is good to know they don't just run out when being removed. Probably surface tension keeping the juice from flowing out. They having caps to more fully seal them is good. I put caps on 510 cartos that are full and then take them off and put them in my pocket when I use each one so the same habit will work with the tanks. I don't really need the caps on the cartos but it helps me know which ones are full or not so i don't put them back on between swaps and after swapping because then I can't tell if one has been vaped on or not. With the tanks though, I can put the caps back on for the seal but still know how much each one has been used. I guess it is to be expected that flavor insulation from tank to tank is not as it is with cartos since the attys isn't changing but if it is at least not worse than a regular atty, that's cool. Thanks again for the info!

Does 5 quick clicks turn off the battery so you don't have any more pocket fires? Like it does with the ego tank olive(i think it's what it is called)?

just buy the atomiser and tanks to stick on your usb battery then as its the same battery and connection, only difference being the new battery turns off with 5 button pushes

What Ohm is the new atty?
BTW I know I can use my USB T Battery with them, but my USB battery does not have the 5 click turn off. I don't like hot pants, and I still carry my SB when I know I will have to put my E-Cig in them if I don't have a shirt pocket.

i just look at it this way with all the hype and excitement if it hadnt been announced that the battery had an extra attribute of being able to turn off the tank would still sell by the bucketload anyway. ive managed without this function for long enough so it doesnt really bother me but you could always use the button protection ring

TW Does not sell the button protection ring for some off odd reason. Same as they don't sell a mega drip tip for some strange reason. I like to do ok size orders because of shipping cost. I hope in the future we get USB batteries that turn off with 5 clicks. Plus I missed the Yo-Yo sale, because of Christmas...so it looks like I will miss the Jan 20% off too

The TW Kits come with the button protector?
Really?
No, I just ordered a Fast USB Charger, Battery, and Cone. Didn't get the kit.
I went threw 3 RMAs on a Auto battery, and then just ordered a USB Battery after it died again.

i bought 4 kits before xmas all coming with x2 button protectors (2 in each kit) i bought a compact kit aswell which worked out at about £24 not much more than what you paid for those bits you bought

I see the attys are just under US$20, which is not too bad. I didn't see a price for the tanks though but I would guess it will be listed fairly soon. At least the prices will be listed when they are available, unless Jason wants to give them away for free. Wishful thinking!!

My eyes must not have been seeing too good because checking again, the US price is well under $20 at $16.99.
