Recently I have had the temptation to go back to smoking analogues, not because I feel vaping isn't satisfying my nicotine and ritual urges, but because I have yet to discover a liquid that does not become too sickly to vape after about a day! They all taste and smell great for the first few puffs but become more and more sickly as time goes on...

I have tried cola, strawberry, kiwi, apple, mint, caramel, orange, ginger, goji, hazelnut, tigers blood, popcorn, oats, bubblegum, absinthe etc etc.

In a sort of last ditch effort to save myself from regressing to the pack a day habit I even tried no flavour at all, but alas even that was unpleasant.

So I rummaged through my flavour collection, wondering what I could do. Mix a few here, mix a few there, when I came across my previously purchased (and completely neglected) Ruyan 5.

I mixed together a 20ml batch and filled up my ego-c.

Its difficult to pinpoint a taste to it. It smells very slightly caramelesque, and there is a faint sweetness in its flavour but overall any real taste to it is mild and I am hoping that due to its mildness it will not overpower my palate by this time tommorrow because I am near the end of my rope where flavour is concerned.

Anybody else having this sort of issue?

I get like this some days and even changing the flavours doesn't help, they start out ok but after a few ml it gets boring but since i have been mixing my own i have been using 15% flavour and that has helped and I even used a bit of menthol last night (I hate menthol) and mixed it with a bit of cherry which i have been vaping all day and all I can say is wow its amazing, give it a try if you haven't already it adds a different dimension to vaping. I have the exact opposite problem.... if I vape the same flavour for too long in fades to blandness, so i change flavours several times a day. From what you're saying that may well help with your problem as well. So far today I have used Titan Apple, Titan Watermelon, Red Label Black Tea, Red Label Camel and Patriot Ripe Strawberry.

RY's are the sort of vape that you can stick with and a favourite of many who don't want to veer too far from tobacco, although RY5 is veering towards too sweet for some. If you're getting on well with it now, I recommend RY4.  I know it's not TW but a lot of people, particularly fellas, really love a flavour called British Bulldog. Type "British Bulldog Jacobs Creek" into google. There's probably a flavour akin to that sold by TW but I wouldn't know what that is.

It is one reason I don't mix my flavours at more than 10%, for me most would be too sickly, especially fruit/sweet flavours., one flavour I find ideal is Pillbox38's Mad Dog in the Patriot Range, its a Tobacco/pepper/mustard mix, and for me is the most cigarette like flavour I have tried. and one from which I never tire.

For me the worse flavour in the world in that of a tobacco cigarette, I hated the taste for years, but I needed the nicotine.. life is perfect now Wink
