Well I've just done my first mix with Sarsaparilla, and I got to say... It's a pretty ice vape Smiley im mixing with 15% flavour and it's just about right for me, not to strong but not to week.

That was the one that caught my eye scott. Is there anything you can liken the flavour to? It says on the website, 'originally made from liquorice root, vanilla beans and molasses'. It sounds right up my street if the other notes come out nicely Smiley Wink

It's a hard one to describe really, this sounds dodgy but it has a smell of germolene lol but it's a really nice vape.
It's got a slight sweetness to it with a bit of cool edge to it.

Sorry it's not a great description, but it's defo a keeper Smiley

Sounds like it tastes like the rootbeer drink you used to get from the golden arches!

YuP that's Rootbeer alright. Germolene lol that's what many called the smell of the PR Rootbeer. It is a concentrate after all and some things concentrated smell putrid. Wink

If you want true rootbeer, get a bottle of Sasfras flavor from LorAnn.  Rootbeer flavor was originally made from the roots of  the sasfras tree. As a child my mother made sasfras tea by boiling dried sasfras roots--it's delicious.

Hi oldude, I find it fascinating that you've tried the 'real deal' so to speak!

Psst.... keep talk of TW competitors on the low Lips sealed
FYI, Half of those flavors are hard on atomizers due to oils and sugars. No matter the flavor I wouldn't risk my gear again. Undecided

FYI, Half of those flavors are hard on atomizers due to oils and sugars. No matter the flavor I wouldn't risk my gear again. Undecided

There used to be a board here for discussing products not sold by TW, TW customer service, warranty, promotions, quality etc etc meant that it was never a threat to discuss what was available elsewhere. A lot of people were very happy to buy TW but naturally it's always nice to know what's going on elsewhere. I was sad, and puzzled, to see that this board had been removed Sad

TW I'm almost certain, sold Lorann flavourings albeit relatively briefly if my memory serves me well. There was a big discussion here by members long gone, and a list was compiled of 'safe', 'less safe' and 'not safe' flavourings was posted. Nice to see Lorann mentioned again; I was always a fan of their tutti frutti myself Smiley

There are quite a few different flavouring brands available now via various suppliers, which is why I think it's great that we can share opinion on the TW gold concentrates here. Always had a high opinion of the TW flavouring both in premixed and what was offered in the past; the company always chooses the best so it boils down to personal preferences and rarely if ever is quality or concentration an issue with what they offer Smiley

Think everyone will be very busy with the gold standard concentrates myself.... 80 flavours is one hell of a lot to plough through if you like your DIY  Grin

Nice idea, what ratio are you using when adding the raspbery?

This is what I love about mixing your own, so many variations and ideas from others Cheesy

Something else that would be nice is a Birchbeer flavoring .. similar to Sasparilla much lighter in flavor.   I like a cold Birchbeer with a dash of strawberry syrup..

Casey, that would be a good entry to the flavour comp, go for it with that one!

I just tried my first ever mix using this flavour, and it's nice.

Reminds me of 'Juicy Fruit' chewing gum.

HELP?Huh
I posted this elsewhere too....
I note people are mentioning 15% mixes and 10% mixes???
According to chart in TW Platinum Ice mixing kit, the flavour ratio equates to 23.33%  Huh
Would anyone out there care to enlighten, please ?
Thank you

The new GS concentrates are very strong Billy, the chart you have would have been printed for the older ranges of concentrates not the GS ones.

With GSC's you'll find that 20% is on the very strong end, probably too strong for most people. Between 10% and 15% is about the range that most people are feeling is about right.

To try flavours out I make a micro mix in the eGoT/C tank, the tank holds approx 20 drops so each drop is equal to 5%, so 2 drops of flavour would be 10%, 3 drops 15% and so and the rest of the mix would be nic PG/AG

Just got this and yeah the smell is horrible, it reminds me of that anti-septic tooth paste, but it's a nice vape, but as someone mentioned ,it will probably get a bit much, so could be a good one to mix with a fruit flavour or maybe coconut.

I'm loving this flavour!
I add a few drops of menthol just to give it an Oossh!
It's nearly as good as Green Cow, which is my ultimate favourite Smiley

Will put it away and try again in a few weeks.
