Equipment

Tornado Tank, brand new regular atomiser new clean tank, standard fully charged battery.

Appearance/Smell

Clear bright orange is about the best description I can give of the concentrate with the smell coming in on the sweet side couldn’t distinguish a cigar/tobacco scent at this time.

Mixing

The base liquid I used was Platinum Ice (PG) 54mg .I have been vaping at 18mg since I started and just this last week have dropped down to 8mg but for the purpose of this test I wanted to try at various strengths including higher than my normal intake .
Mixing to the different mgs was as per the mixing chart provided with the kit

Flavour review  8 mg

Light sweet Cherry taste – no taste of cigar / tobacco that I could liken it to (have tried most of TW cigar products before) initial thoughts were this could be a all day vape for people who like very sweet vapes or use it to mellow  the taste of a more aggressive tobacco juice.
I’m told there was a very faint cigar / tobacco  smell to the secondary vapour  along with the sweetness which wasn’t unpleasant to the other occupant of the room where I was doing my test.(my non smoking son)
The sweetness remained constant throughout the duration of the test (full tank) and by the end of it I was beginning to rethink my initial thought of it being a all day vape (for me at least) though would defiantly suit those with a sweet tooth.

Flavour review  36 mg

As stated earlier this is stronger than I would normally mix and it had its good and bad points as will be seen later.
First I got a throat hit with this strength can’t say I’ve every experienced that with any of my other mixes so maybe I’ve been doing them to low – anyway on with the review.
Cherry taste still there and not as overpowering sweet as it was in the lower mix, however the cherry taste was not as consistent as before it tended to drift in and out of the vape with the cigar taste (I would liken it to a mild Cuban) taking a more dominate roll, secondary vape less of a sweet smell and defiantly more of a mild cigar smell.
Had to keep putting this mix down, couldn’t chain vape as is my normal method due to getting a nic head so this tank lasted me a lot longer than normal as I said  at the start good and bad points from this strength for me.

Flavour review 18 mg

Still had a little bit of concentrate left so decided to mix up a batch of 18mg and it turned out to be a bit of a balance between the two previous mixes the cherry taste drifted in and out again with the taste in-between being a bit dull at times secondary vapour did have the smell of a sweet light cigar to it and wasn’t unpleasant to the non smoking onlookers (the wife this time)

Conclusions

First of all thank you to TW for giving me the opportunity of trying this product  I along with a lot of the other reviewers have only started vaping/mixing recently so forgive me if the review comes across as disjointed or technically inept I did jot down notes as I went along but what is written is a bit like me – what you see is what you get .

Maybe taking on a duel flavour was to much for me at this stage, but I hope I’ve managed to get across what I found – taste is a subjective thing and maybe someone else would come up with a totally different write-up.

I would defiantly buy this flavour its one of the best cherry flavours I have tried so far –I could vape it as a standalone flavour and it also  has a lot of potential for mixing with other duller flavours to soup them up to my taste buds. For example with the last few drops of concentrate I mixed equal amounts of cigar cherry with Habana concentrate at a 8mg strength and have to say it’s very nice - sweet but not as sweet as the straight cigar cherry at 8mg (although the cigar taste still struggles to make a appearance until the latter part of the tank)

Don’t know if I overdosed on cherry yesterday but I could still smell it this morning when I woke up (does seem to linger on the moustache )

Excellent rewiew!

Sounded like a pro to me, well done Wink, I'm into the Cherry/tobacco vapes at the moment, so this looks like a worthy contender for my collection Grin

Thanks Tartanmack, interesting.....

I`m pretty much with Carol on this regarding cigars, any kind of whiff of them sends me nauseous - which is quite rich coming from someone who was happy to burn tobacco and cause a right royal stink-up  Wink

Your review has certainly made me think twice about something I wouldn`t normally even look at.

You ain't sampled my mixes.. lol

But I have to say, doing a flavour review is not easy... I am quite hopeless at it, I tend to describe flavour in terms of "tastes like the smell of a well worn old leather boot" or " it tastes like you just licked an ashtray"...so my reviews would not be very appealing................. well to most anyway  Undecided

You and Jilly Goolden would make a great testing team  Grin

as long as people know what you mean and it get`s the message across...even I can imagine the taste of the smell of an old boot.

Hi Fad I can understand where your coming from re the wiff of cigar smoke, I used to like the occasional cigar but it had to be on the mild side and not too big,--- bigger than Tom Thumb and smaller than a King Edward (would get no enjoyment trying to finish a King Ted in a oner) something like Old Port that had the plastic tip just like my Tornado Tank was ideal for me any dark rum soaked cigar also got my vote.

The taste as I said in the review at low levels was very hard to detect and although I likened it to a Habana  there was also a caramel taste to it not a sweet caramel more a dull overtone which was not overpowering just (to me) a bit bland.

The secondary vape smell that others in the room smelt was by two non smokers and both said it was not unpleasant and overpowering like a real cigar and that they could detect it above the sweetness of the cherry (but only just)

It is always hard trying to decide if a flavour is for you or not by reading the write-ups or descriptions on the TW shop page, in a ideal world we would have a TW Shop in every major city in the land that we could pop into to try before we buy but in the meantime I suppose you could get it,try a small amount and if you still don’t like it try the swop section of the forum ,mind you as I said it is very sweet at low mgs so could be put to good use that way

Oh I don’t know could be reverse psychology at work with people wanting to try it just to see if it really is that bad  Undecided Wink Smiley
