This is my third review of the range, just one more to come from me (for now).  As always it is being tested with a fresh CE3 on a Tornado Pass-thru with a Booster, set initially to 3.7 volts

Flavour

When I first heard of the concept I thought ‘huh’!? I just couldn’t understand how the two would be a successful marriage. However, there it was as an eliquid so I thought there must be some logic to it. It tastes, erm, very much like cinnamon and menthol. Both pack an almighty punch and for me, this is an acquired taste. I can imagine it being reassuring for new vapers who are struggling with burnt out tastebuds. No matter how bad the buds are, you can’t mistake the cinnamon, or the menthol.

I’ve had minted eliquids before (Vanilla Ice) and this was my first blast of full-on menthol. WOW it just takes your breath away! It feels like the back of your throat is freezing and is one of the most intense experiences I’ve had with a flavour.  I have no basis for comparison but for me, cinnamon wasn’t a natural complement to this. It adds quite a savoury note to the experience that just tastes, well, odd to me. On the plus side though, it helped me adjust to determining the cinnamon tones in the ‘orange cinnamon’ flavour, which grows on me the more I vape of it. I really liked it in the first place!

Vapour

If I wasn’t so girly about the intensity of the menthol, I’d perhaps be better at evaluating this. However, I was struggling with this so much at 3.7 volts that I ended up dropping the voltage to around 3.3. Based on this the vapour production wasn’t fantastic, but those who still struggle with burnt out tastebuds will enjoy the plumes of vapour I’ve experienced with all of the PR flavours thus far.

Throat Hit

If you haven’t already gathered, there’s lots of it. Huge amounts... too much for me in all honesty. If it’s an intense throat hit you’re after, you really can’t go wrong with this and I’m sure that will be the case for all menthol flavours. Given the warmth in the orange cinnamon flavour, I can certainly tell that the cinnamon adds to the intensity of throat hit in this instance.

Verdict

If you haven’t already gathered, this one really isn’t for me... BUT I can imagine that there are people out there who will really love the intensity of this vaping experience. Given this I feel it would be unfair to give it a score. If you suffer with dead taste buds, this packs an almighty wallop!
