I like my tea, in fact, I doubt that I would be able to function properly as a human being if i didn't have at least 12 fl.oz. of good ol' supermarket tea-bag infused liquid floating around inside of me within half an hour of awakening. As I said in a previous post, my weekly consumption of this wonderful drink is measured in gallons.... Cheesy

So, with that in mind, I was looking forward to trying this one out - here goes.........

Equipment - DSE901, fully-charged battery, tuned-in atty, clean cart....
Colour of liquid - pale yellow/gold. Smell of liquid - slight odour of dried tea leaf (is the best I can come up with...).

Flavour / Taste - My very first impressions were ones of slight disappointment. I foolishly expected the exact taste of that early morning brew which I clearly wasn't getting. I thought to myself, 'Hold on John, this juice is trying to tell you smething...' .

Being a good listener, I continued to vape away and then this distinct taste was coming through, I carried on, could I think of this taste (which by now I was beginning to really enjoy)?? Then it hit me, this was not your bog-standard £1 for 80 tea-bags stuff, this was very subtle, light, refined, refreshing, sophisticated - wow, now that's a word......

This was indeed the taste of the kind of stuff they serve-up in posh hotels during the afternoon. The closest I could get to was something like Darjeeling - probably one of the best black teas around - but with an ever-so slight perfume taste added. Yes, we were certainly being well-looked after by this juice and I give it a healthy 9/10...

Throat Hit - To be honest, there wasn't much of a throat hit to begin with and it seemed to be on par with 11mg and 14mg I have vaped in the past. However, It got there in the end, but then again I had indeed been on Nick's 24mg Mentholyptus for most of the last week so, perhaps, I was expecting too much initially....

As I say, there was evidence of a throat-hit at 18mg - but it takes its time, perhaps there's more of an instant hit from the 24mg??......7.5/10

Vapour Content - Not bad, not bad at all. If I discard Nick's Blackcurrant (which literally belches out the stuff), then this does a fair job. This is where the 901 comes into its own (howls of protests from Titan users... Shocked) - a lovely gentle soft draw on the mouthpiece is all that's required. You get a lovely aroma from the e-cig, hold the vapour in the mouth, inhale and then gently exhale through the mouth or nasally - there is a slight difference between the two. Gorgeous.....7.5/10

To summarize.....Imagine if you will, you're in some posh London hotel and it's time for afternoon tea. Your waiter/waitress brings up a nice pot of 'finest', along with some cucumber sandwiches, a scone or two and - to top it all off,- a couple of mls of TW 'Black Tea' in a tiny little dropper bottle - along with, naturally, a complementary 901 to enjoy the juice with. Maybe in the future...eh??   Cool

So, there we have it - 8/10 - it certainly took me by surprise and was thoroughly pleasant and enjoyable. A taste of England (oops, better make that the whole of the UK..... Grin)

Would I purchase again? In time I would, but I'd like to try the TW Green Tea first, just to compare notes etc.....

Happy vaping everyone, and thanks for reading.... Smiley

You're welcome. As I type I'm using it as my first vape of the day - along with drinking a huge mug of tea. The two really seem to go well together. Very subtle.....

Let me know what you think when you try yours........ Smiley

I love love LOVE Black Tea (18mg)!  It's one of my favorites so far.  The flavor is subtle but very nice.  Goes well with actual tea and even coffee, in my opinion.

Hi DaniLiss

You're so right, it's a great accompaniment to a cuppa, especially first thing in the morning. If I start my vaping day on Black Tea, then I'm usually with it for a couple of hours before moving on to something else..... Smiley

A good drop of stuff, indeed.... Cool

LOL spiraller - I did say where tea is concerned.  I can do subtle very well in other areas but I like my tea strong.  Cheesy

I'm a working class girl...I didn't even know what Earl Grey was until I was well into my twenties, lol.

I just can't stand weak tea.  I can drink coffee weak or strong, but give me a weak cup of tea and I'll likely pour it out and make another one.  Cheesy

I reckon I get it from my (Irish) grandmother - she used to drink extremely strong tea - from a pot though, in her book using teabags was like a cardinal sin.  Cheesy

OMG Sky I'd hate to be you, I love my tea and that would be a nightmare for me, lol.

Firewire - I think it's this funny liquid, it's a bit like water but tastes nasty.  Somebody said it's tea for posh people but I don't believe them it tastes nothing like the tea  wot we have at home.  Wink

Earl grey is a mellow mild tea which has been flavoured with oil of bergamot.... it's a bit of an acquired taste... usually drunk black but I love it with milk.

Sky Sad you must be sensitive to something in the tea, best perhaps not try it then lol.... good job there are loads of other nice flavours to try Cheesy

LOL  moog, I can't disagree with you there.  You saying that reminds me of the time my step grandmother used a £40 bottle of perfume she'd got as a gift to keep the toilet fresh cause she hated the smell.  Cheesy

Proper tea, made in the teapot. Left to brew for a minute, china cup with milk in first. Proper cup of tea!
