<censored.> <censored> postman, why can't he do his <censored> job <censored> properly!!!!!!

I made a purchase with TECC last week and have been patiently waiting for it. It turns out it was delivered Saturday to my neighbour. As she has been out most of the weekend i only got it this morning. This is the kicker; The postman never put a note through my door and my neighbour didn't sign for it and according to the post office tracker it hasn't been delivered yet! Now if my neighbour wasn't the honest type this would be a different rant altogether.

I have family members that worked for the post office and i could tell you some stories about that Shocked. I like my parcels to arrive in one piece so not sure if i want to complain Undecided

Rant over, feel free to ignore me as i'm having a bad day Tongue

Just the other day I had a mailbox full . . . I had the mail for three of my neighbors in addition to my own.  Kinda makes me wonder if somebody else got some of mine and just threw it out.  I think my regular mailman was on vacation, must have been his replacement was feeling lazy that day Undecided

I live in a block of six flats and one was empty for about 6 months so we did wonder if some of our letters were ending up there lol

Sorry you're having a bad day cath. Sad   My advice: take a deep breath (just make sure it contains some nicotine and your fav flavor) and enjoy your new TECC stuff.  Hopefully that'll help improve your day a bit. Smiley

Added it to my "watch later" list on Youthtub (which just keep growing! Shocked).  I'll check it out cath.  If you want some laughs, look up some of the old Bill Cosby, Richard Prior, or George Carlin sets.  That always does it for me. Smiley

This is why this one made me chuckle.....

I had a training day at work not to long ago and a lot of it was about 'political correctness'. I came away from it thinking that the safest thing for me to do is never open my mouth again in case i offend someone.

One of the things that really got me was this..... If two people are having a conversation and one person says something offensive to the other (even if that person is not offended) a third person overhearing the conversation and being offended for the other person can put in an official complaint Shocked

If that isn't political correctness gone mad, i don't know what is Lips sealed

Oh, so true.  The only time (surprisingly) that my mouth has gotten me into trouble in the workplace was exactly that situation.  I was joking around with a co-worker just like we always had over the few years time I'd been working for that employer, wasn't even the most objectionable sort of thing that usually came out of our mouths, but somebody new overheard and we were both spoken to about it.  That person's employment didn't last very long, in a short time she had complaints filed against every single person there . . . and then she was filing complaints about the fact that she was shunned by all of her co-workers Roll Eyes  She quit after only a few months

LOL.  Drives me nuts too cath.  IMO it's long since passed through ridiculous and gone straight to utter madness.  I'm not of the "political correct" persuasion.  I've been told my very presence is offensive to certain individuals.  And since I know the individuals in question, that knowledge makes me quite happy Grin (I feel the same about them.  We're talking about the type of people that will try to get your favorite TV show off the air because they've watched every episode and found them all so offensive that they were incapable of changing the channel or turning off the set Huh). Grin  I think the world would be a better place if everyone would just get a sense of humor and get on with life, instead of looking to get their tender sensibilities bruised at every turn.  But then, nobody asked me. Cheesy

Now that's something that's truly offensive (I mean boy bands, not the fact that your offended by them Huh). Undecided
