TT - my nickname AND my vaping device!

« on: March 11, 2012, 09:01:08 PM »

... And not for the reasons you all might think.. Tongue

I'm so happy that I started vaping. I can't really find the right words.  Sad I love it, adore it and I can't seem to let my Tornado Tank out of sight (not for too long, because then I totally forget where I put it down, and then I panic Tongue ), because I thinks it's a great little piece of hardware.

I want to scream, because everywhere I go, there are those kind of people who comes and asks me what I'm puffing away on. I answer them politely and show them my TT. Then they look at me (or atleast 4 out of 10 does) and say: "Well, then you are clearly not taking other people into consideration, when you smoke on that thing indoors! There's nicotine in it! It's causing us to passively smoke it!"

I keep telling them, that I'm the one getting every kind of additive that's in there.
I keep telling them, that I would NEVER intentionally indanger ANYONE... But they just look at me, tell me I'm wierd, and that there should be laws against "things like that"...

I get sad... Really... Not just because I simply find my TT to be the most amazing little thing, that made my life easier, but because... Can't they see? I used to smell really badly of smoke. I used to stink up every bus, car and room I was in, because I was smoking analogues.
How can my little black beauty be anything but good?

I can't seem to get a grasp on it..

I don't want to complain (but I guess I just did anyway...) and I know that everyone is entitled to have their oppinions, but is my oppinion not just as valid as the oppinion of a nonsmoker??

Denmark is a little country... It's hardly noticable, lying there between Sweden and Deuschtland... But do we need to be as narrowminded as the size of our country?Huh

I'm proud of vaping! And I'm not backing down, just because Danes think this "new think" is just a hype... I'm marching on Smiley

are there others out there, who experiences the same thing? Getting pulled down from the great place, where you're vaping and absolutely enjoying it (and not bothering a soul) and then someone comes and tells you, that you're just tricking yourself, and hurting yourself even more by vaping than smoking analogues...?

Hmm... Is there a lack of threading in this topic?? Seems to be all over the place Wink

Well, just wanted to blow off steam and see if any of the "older" vapers have encountered some of these thing...? And no, I didn't call you OLD, just old to vaping Wink

I think that sums it up nicely, the attitude to vapeing that is.
I have encountered most of these things.
On the positive side I have also converted some of the people who enquired what I was doing.

tell them "you know I tried to see the world from your point of view but I can't quite get my head that far up my own arsehole" I hate NIMBY twerps.

just tell them its an inhaler or just say nothing evangelical ex smokers or anti smokers pop a chubby at even the thought of chastising a smoker in my experience especially those using alternatives. they have the same bitch at me for shooting telling me I should be ashamed for owning guns.

LOL! Good one with the arsehole Cheesy Tongue

I tried one day, walking down the street, wearing a really short skirt and a blouse that showed a big portion of my belly... No one commented. Only the women, who's men were looking Wink But if I go to my grocery store, and have a stealth vape, people look at me funny and actually think that I'm eating something from the store!!! They think I stole something...
A cashier saw me put something in my pocket. The alarm didn't go off as I left the store, but she ran after me anyway. She acused me of stealing!!! Would you believe it. It had to show her my device and explain to her what it was. Still she didn't quite believe me...

I can't see the big issue here. Really....

I'm not even blowing vapour up in anyones faces, and I'm loving this new lifestyle so much... But apparently, things that seems too good to be true, often is..

I delt with tougher things in life though, so I'll just keep on vaping, and converting a few people along the way. My boyfriends best friend converted last week thanks to me and my other friend is thinking about it. Not all bad Smiley

But I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one having a hard time enjoying vaping outside of my home...
I just think people need to know what this is Cheesy But then again... There will always be somebody to ruin things Wink

Happy vaping Cheesy
