I think it has alot to do with the fact that  the 80s and early 90s were a fun time. I was a kid  in Florida with no responsibilities. But the 80s music was  just fun.
And sorry to the older people but my wife asked me why I keep playing such old songs and I told her " Makes me feel young"!!

LOL imd.  I think that's why we all play stuff from our youth... and prolly why we all think that our generation's music is the best.  There's a lot of emotion tied to music....  Undecided  well, for most peeps anyway.  And that's why, for me, It's a lot like religion (I look forward to your angry cards and letters) in that I respect (well, I try to anyway) other's taste in music, even if it's something I don't like.  Oh sure, I might kid you (not you imd.... just you as in the general you... Undecided  "hey you!"....  you know? Huh) about it, but I'd never dis you for it.  If you (as in you imd, lol) knew some of the stuff I actually liked you'd be appalled (I know I sometimes am Cheesy). Smiley
