I am currently using a Titan 510. I love it. I tend to get atomizers that have a burning taste that no matter how much liquid I put in I get no flavor out, just burnt. I'm not sure about trying a 901. Because I have the Titan PCC I want to try a 901 atomizer with the conversion to fit a 510 battery. Is the throat hit and vapor production similar to the 510? Would anyone recommend getting some 901 atomizers in addition to my 510 atomizers?

How long have you been using your attys? My 2 original attys were doing that as well, so I boiled them for a few mins. Then I ran cool water thru them. It brought them back for longer use. Might help you might not, but its worth a shot. Been using 1 of my 2 originals since the end of Jan early Feb. And it still reads 2.3 on my tester. Guess some are better than others.

Why not go the whole way and buy a Screwdriver then you can use 510 and 910 attys....the best of both worlds and the batts last a long time and cheap to replace.

This is what I ended up doing after many kits...just wish I had purchased the SD earlier.

If you have burnt the wick it will be very hard to get rid of that nasty burnt taste, have you tried pulling the wick ?

Its right out of the box like that, and it's that way till death. I never heat my atomizers up really hot, so they dont burn out very quickly. I never boil them because they die faster. The only time I pull out the wicking is last resort and it is usally if the quality of vapor goes down.

I always pull the wick out as soon as I go to use a new one.  I direct drip only, so the wick is useless to me.  Before I started pulling them, I sometimes got the burnt taste, and it was because the end of the wick was resting directly on the coil and slowly burning.

Hiya thebattlecry, I would certainly recommend giving the 901 atty a try, probably with the 510-901 adapter is the cheapest and easiest way at first. The 901 does not give as much throat hit/harshness as the 510, but many flavours come through a lot better on 901 than 510. Lol, if you've read my other posts you will know that I am a 901 fan, I use them on my Tornado's with adapters and on my SD. One other 'bonus' is that you can use the Titan carts in the TW 901's (The TW 901's are actually RN4075 atties, slightly different to standard 901's) so you only need the adapter and the atty to try it out. If you are getting burning taste from the get go it sounds like you may be running a bit too dry.
Happy vaping.
