Hi Terrier,
Your friend is correct - Ryanair do in fact sell their E-cigs just after take-off, and do a 3 minute pitch all about them, and how they can be used anywhere etc, including on the plane.
My experience, flying with Ryamair, Easyjet, and several other airlines, both within the UK. and in Europe, is that the TW products that I use (Tornado Tank, and Mega Tornado Tank) produce significant amounts of "proper" vape, and as such, whilst I have never (touch wood) so far had any problem using my systems, I try not to draw attention to myself, preferring to let others, using Ryanair's/ other manufacturer's products, do this for themselves.

If you search through some of my previous posts, you will find some of my experiences/ observations whilst travelling through airports/ on planes.

We all behave in different ways, but my personal "best practice" is to try not to antagonise anyone near me, although it is perfectly "legal" to do so.

Hope this helps!

Ewww  Sad
But I guess it's an advance of sorts.
I heard yesterday that a local hospital in Hereford is happily allowing folks to vape and telling them all about it, chargers at the ready in the ward day rooms  Shocked
now that's an advance  Grin

I stand corrected!
However, I still stand by the other advice/ observations!
Happy vaping all, and hope you snap up some yo-yo bargains!

I flew with them last month and bought a pack. I had already heard how bad they were, but wanted to see for myself.

They are just a foam tube which has been soaked in a nicotine liquid. I had a go on one and it's just like sucking air through a straw.

I had my Tornado in my pocket, but didn't have the nerve to vape on the plane Smiley

Quie right Astrecks.  It would be good if non-smokers actually felt positive about e-cigs and encouraged them.  There seem to be two types - the rabidly anti anything to do with nicotine and those who respect peoples' choices.  The former are in a minority luckily.  The latter are often very encouraging of my vaping.

I've read posts about people doing a 100% PG mix to keep the visibility down.  I haven't done that yet but do have a technique - discrete vape, no superfous clouds, hold it down for 5 seconds and the exhale is fairly invisible.  Doesn't seem to cause a disturbance.

On a previous post I was fairly bullish about vaping anywhere I chose (including in church, where I use the above discrete holding inhale).  The only exception I've ever made was in visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar.  Cigarettes are a big no-no for Sikhs and I'd been warned not to even take them into the temple (let alone light one up).  I explained to my friend that what I had wasn't a cigarette - but in any event, respected the temple and didn't take an e-cig in..

Started with the mini, then to 501 for expanded horisons.
Dual Coil Tank hits all the buttons but RCS is the new contender.

No i agree you dont want bad press now i do work under the letter of the law as you put it

I do respect if they ask me not to only after i ask there reasons etc but i do limit the vape to a moderate level still visible but not great plumes of it
