An introduction and a helpful warning

Hi Guys, First I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Stig and I've been vaping with a few different brands over the last six months, starting with disposables and then the Gamucci Micro, finally settling on the Titan T with extended batteries. I'd also like to say I like the product and have been reading on the forums a little over the past couple of months. The reason I contact the users of the forum (and hopefully the company will also see this as I see that they are decent and helpful guys) is that I have had a serious problem whilst vaping on holiday in France and have just returned.
I vape frequently and have totally given up tobacco as a result which is great. Unfortunately whilst walking back to camp after an evening out, I took a draw on one of my e-cigs (Titan T) when the round cap on the mouth piece came loose and I inhaled it. I wasn't biting it or doing anything unusual, just using it as I always have done. I began to choke. I was able to breath but only just. I was scared to try to breath in as I thought it might get drawn further in and make it worse. After about half a minute (which seemed like an age) of coughing, retching and making awful vomiting sounds and freaking out I managed to move it further up my airway but not cough it out. My wife and daughter were starting to panic when I managed to breath more freely and I took a sip of water as it felt like it could go either back down my airway or I might be able to swallow it. I think I swallowed it but was not certain if it had gone into my lungs or to my stomach. The next day my throat and chest was sore but I was more certain I'd managed to swallow it, thankfully.
I bought some Superglue and put a dab on the rim of all my refillable cartridges to hold them in place and plan to continue vaping as I am feeling the benefits of not smoking.
I just wanted to let everyone possible know so that they may do the same if they wish and that the company can look into this potentially dangerous problem. I know Jason is a good guy since I have read many of his comments and saw he published his laboratory results on his e-liquid which impressed me.
I don't post to criticise or scare but to warn and notify. Sorry for the long post but I wanted to get this across in detail and hopefully stop this from happening to anyone else. Also for the company to look at any changes that can be made to make this impossible to reoccur to anyone else.
I'm just thankful I'm OK as it could have been so much worse an outcome, an adult windpipe is only the thickness of your little finger and even a partial blockage can be very serious and lead to dangerous complications. Responses both publicly or by private message are welcome.

Might suggest getting a drip tip.
if you are just filling cartos, it would definetly get rid of the little white cap that can fall out easily.
Plus the drip tip gives you something nicer to place in your mouth when you vape.
check the site they have a nice selection.
good luck and happy vaping

I have had a reply by email from from those concerned with the situation and a solution is in the works. Good to know they care and pay attention. Your reply with a possible solution has also been most welcome.
Thank you and regards,
Stig.
