Heaven is a TankDriver!

« on: July 15, 2011, 09:11:02 PM »

I used to keep my vaping kit in a small toolbox but as time went by the amount of stuff grew and of course now it doesn't all fit.  So I thought of buying a bigger toolbox or fishing tackle box.  But then I was after something a bit more classy - something that I could carry around that wouldn't look out of place and at last I've found it.  It's a Multi Craft Tote Bag from my local Argos.  Not exactly what I would call cheap though £22.99 but it works a treat.  I don't really mind paying that much as let's face it we all spend a fortune on vaping products, we owe it to ourselves to keep our kit organised and in good condition.  Hope you enjoy the pictures I have taken, I'm really proud of my vaping bag.

Front View, there's a detachable shoulder strap for convenience

Back View (there are spacious pockets all the way round the outside).  You could put the bottles of e-juice in the outside pockets but I keep mine in the fridge

It opens at the front, I have labelled the individual trays, so I only have to pull out what I need

5 trays included and as you can see I have had difficulty filling them - but give me time...

A real space saver - it's amazing just how much you can pack into these things

That's really nice, and as a fellow female vaper I can appreciate the color.   Wink

I have one of those plastic boxes that I use for attys and such, and they really do work well.  You look so organized!

Cute, and oh-so-functional! Thanks for sharing Smiley

Typically, I suck at knowing where I put my stuff  Undecided I surmise this new vaping habit of mine will force me to adopt better organizational habits. As it is now, I don't have more than a handful of juice bottles, and I'm happy to wear my SD around my neck, so my skills aren't seeing much exercise. However, I don't expect to resist accumulating a stockpile of supplies, so I will soon be challenged. I appreciate vaping veterans sharing their solutions for organizing and storing their stash.

Until my Official TW pocket case arrives, I'm using an old spectacles case to carry my daily essentials around.  Roll Eyes

GrinWhat a great idea! and I love your photographs.
the colors are perfect!  Can you individualize the size of the little drawer spaces?
I bought a bunch of shoe boxes, but it is too much space and very awkward.
I'm definitely going to redo my set-up!

Ohh wow, I like it, very organised! I need to find a similar, portable solution as I only carry a small handbag when I'm out and about, so just take the essentials! I'm thinking some kind of material pouch with elastic holder things in , if you can imagine what I mean?

Unfortunately you can't adjust the spaces in the drawer - I was at first a little disappointed about that, but I found they were just about the right size anyway and anything that doesn't fit goes into one of the outside pockets.

What about this? http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/tornado-accessories/tornado-zipped-carry-case-product.html  although it's made for a Tornado, my screwdriver fitted in there for months, until I actually bought a Tornado.  They are not in stock at the moment but I'm sure it won't be long before that have more.

Plus it fits sooo much.  I have in mine:

1.   2 Tornado batteries
2.   2 Tornado Atomisers
3.   9 Cotton Buds (for cleaning)
4.   Small Bottle cleaning Fluid
5.   1 spare SD switch
6.   3 Tornado cartridge Caps
7.   1 SD Battery
8.   3 Filled Tank Cartridges
9.   Small bottle e-nic liquid
10. Tissue

You know K8, if you needed a bit more room, you could probably cut away one of the little plastic walls to make a double size bin for something in your kit that's longer.

Shouldn't be too difficult, it's just plastic right?

Yep just plastic and I thought about that but the plastic is very strong and Stanley knifes my hubby has are all rusty - will have to buy a new one.  Kate + Stanley Knife = Dangerous  Shocked Shocked  Wink

Well here's another idea if your so inclined. Undecided

You get a metal paperclip and straighten it, then heat the end with a lighter and it cuts through plastic like HOT BUTTER    Wink

Hmmm....all of a sudden I got hankerin' for some Lobster...
