Ego C Atties

Getting on really well with my Ego C now, had to stop using my DCT due to helath reasons Looking forward to a Ego C mega though if one is in the pipeline.

Anyways question is.......has anyone used the LR 1.8ohm atty for ego c yet? If so can you let me know what the performace is, is it the same as a LR 510 Cart?

I have put this down before but it got removed, i will say again but admin feel free to remove.

As i have asthma the DCT and LR DC Cartos seem to make my ashma pretty bad and find it hard to breath Havent got a clue why this is but the Tank systems seem to be ok for me. I cant work out why. This is why im thinking about getting some LR atties for the ego c and seeing if it has something to do with it being LR.

Its probably the heat of the vape irritating the airways, I've noticed that tank vapour is much "cooler". What I would say is that the LR is also a warmer and harsher "hit" so you might be better sticking with SR atties, perhaps somebody here can trade you "one" LR atty for a SR one, then you can try without buying a whole strip; might be worth your while sticking a "want ad" up in the trades section

That culd be the case with the "warmer" vape Good call. I do like the TH on them but i have found now if i stick with the tank and add menthol to my mix i get that TH

I only have the 1 atty atm as i borrowed them off a mate of mine. I need to get some more atties so figured i would ask around before i bought

I would also like to know if the LR C attys are any good because I had the choice just the other day but went for the standard because I know what they are like and feared you may be more likely to burn the coil dry and end up ruining attys if they are LR ones. The standard C attys produce clouds of vapour and strong flavour/TH so is there actually a big difference with LR or do you just end up frying them?

I have also asthma and have noticed the same thing with lr atties.
Nothing strange there, as Tara says they are way more harsh for the throat and therefor irritates it.
But I am lucky in this, I dont like throat hit.

LR Atty = Low resistance atomiser some like them, some don't, they tend to give a "slightly" warmer vape and bigger Throat Hit (TH), the downside is that they can also make some flavours taste burnt.
DCT = Dual Coil Tank, this is a slightly different kind of atomiser and tank all in one, I've not tried the DCT but I've tried th atomiser bit of it which is known as a Cartomiser (or Carto for short) and they make a much warmer vapour, but it is different to the LR attys and I've found the TH is less harsh and the flavours stronger in them.

Me too would like to know from someone who has used both!   I found that when I used a LR atty on my Tornado that I lost quite a bit of flavor versus using the regular resistance atty.  Wish TW would sell them by the piece as I'd love to try one, but not willing to purchase a whole strip.   Maybe once there are a few answers, I'll post a wanted in the trades section.

I've only used the standard Atties with my Ego C.. so can't comment on that.. really must order some though.

Well, Luckily,.(As I do like the DCT's) I have not had a problem with their heat.at all to be honest,.which is odd actually, as when I tried to use the old LR 510 Atties, I couldn't? They used to really affect both my throat and my breathing and I found them to be way too hot! I Always ended up coughing a lot with them, so I do think it makes a difference?
