High Voltage Ego T Mega

Standard resistance Ego T Mega atty's comes in at 2.2 - 2.5ohms Placed on a variable mod you really can't go higher than 4.2v without killing the atty.....................How about TW introduces a 4.0ohms High Voltage Ego T Mega for use with 5/6v variable mods
It would fill a gap and take away the need for carts

Hiya Moneyman...... I must admit, I don't see the point, if it's on a VV device then why not just keep the volts low? surely the point of VV Vaping is to find the sweet spot for what your using, not to try and run everything at 6V?

The sweet spot sometimes take on a different(better) flavor profile when vaped at higher voltage
The high voltage tank would allow you to store 2-2.5ml (all day) e-liquid supply and utilize the full scope of the VV device without mandating a cart and hourly dripping
If you need a bigger supply of e-liquid (3-6ml) you are then forced to a DCT....(you have to lower the volts) and all the pitfalls that come with them...............The Ego T Mega with higher ohms is an easier solution for the user

Interesting thought if viable it would be a good idea. I can see the attraction or would it not be easier to get a higher resistance dct coil since they hold plenty of juice?

In most cases users vaping in high voltage would opt for a 3.0ohm single coil cart within their higher capacity tank setup or use HV cart with filler and a 4ml capacity and continue to top off to keep the cart wet (painful)
But it seems the general consensus is the CartoTank setup is preferred over cart alone for both flavor and overall look.
A High Voltage Ego T Mega would provide the user with better airflow, easier liquid refill, full capacity use of the VV device, and overall easier maintenance (no O ring issues, no tank cracking, reduced leakage issues, no mounting issues, short cart life)
Maybe the tank cart on the Ego could be expanded to increase capacity?
And, (not sure about this)............a better profit margin!!!

So long as the ego tank system could keep up with liquid requirement so as not to burn dry, like the carto but at the same time an increased hole in the tank cap could lead to flooding the atty.
I can see why it would be a good idea though and certainly something that would go well with the Torpedo

I already use a Ego T type B Mega tank on a VV device and my SD MKII @ no higher than 4.2v, NEVER HAVE ANY DRYNESS
For HV usage I am using a HV 4.0 ohms XXXL cart...........I am researching Tanks for HV usage (alot of issues here)
I dont like the hassles of the DCT and don't need a 3 day juice supply on call
