I knew I'd succumb, I didn't realise it would be within a month of vaping though!
I've been out of the country most of the week, but got back late last night and went to the sorting office this morning to collect my goodies, which amongst other things included the Platinum Ice pro kit!

I've just mixed and vaped my first DIY tank! (using tanks as the mixing bottles were missing from the order.. probably for the best as my first mix was just 0.5ml in a tank - damage limitation but it actually turned out well) BTW TW were very apologetic on the phone and the bottles are on the way. Having read about all the orders they dealt with over the weekend I'm more than happy to forgive them (as well as the fact I got 61% off the kit!)

I digress - so I now have DV praline added to my collection, and I was pretty impressed with it. I have some interesting sounding / smelling concentrates to try out now, and I'm pretty excited about making my own mixes. Ordered mostly "flavour" flavours, but did also get a couple of tobacco flavours. Strangely they were labelled Black Label instead of DV, but I don't suppose that makes any difference.

Expect more reviews as I work my way through the concentrates - 1 down, 12 to go Smiley

I'm going to pitch in with a tip for all new mixers who have some tank carts lying about, sorry if this has been suggested a gazillion times.

I've made a fair few bad mixes in the last couple of months, and even at 5ml that can be precious nic juice needlessly wasted. So I've started mixing in the 1.2ml tank carts in order to sample batches before I do a bigger mix of 5 or 10ml. Obviously there are some disadvantages to this, not least that the mix doesn't get to steep - an important aspect of the science of mixing, and it can also be very easy to overdo something by even a drop and throw the whole flavour out.

So yeah, if you have a suspicion that a couple of combined flavours might work and you just want to give it a toot before committing, do it in your tank cart. I'd also recommend using a mixology calculator for this sort of micro run and gun approach, something like 'ejuice me up' or similar.
