Yeah. I bought a tankomizer. I filled it up with my premixed Banana that I have been using all week in my eGo-C, and I took one puff and felt like I was going to die. My lungs still hurt. It was REALLY hot.
Is this normal?

If I remember correctly these are pre-primed, did you blow out the primer and re-prime with your liquid? All of the CE4 tankos I had were gross and almost caused me to pack in vaping and go back to smoking. Then the DCT came along and IMO its the best thing since sliced bread. Note: Don't try vaping sliced bread

Well at least you got something out of yours. I bought two of these and could not get either one of them to work. Even a wisp of vapor would have been nice. Thank God I only purchased two of them

Same here Tony.... First one would not feed and was getting burnt plastic taste. Second one flooded really bad. Way too much plastic and glue for me to want to play with them any further. They don't look like they really belong on the Tornado and seem a bit mismatched. I better stop .... I got nothing nice to say about em

so if i am understanding this correctly, is this an about-face on the ego-c? i thought that the initial reviews were glowing. just so i can comprehend or am i missing something? i intentionally waited for a period to see if this would come about. some products take a while before a final judgment is handed down.

I had the same horrible experience with the tankomizer...luckily I ordered the DCT in the same order. I'm sold,,,,this is THE one for me! I can't say anything bad about the DCT I love it.

Hi JohnE, the eGo-C is still better than sliced bread for me... although I never was keen on sliced bread, I'm loving the -C and still getting as good as ever since my positive review in November.... no worries except that some folks have been having issues with the atomisers for it... the jury is still out about a potential manufacturing problem and Jason has promised to look into it. Knoton and Tara have a thread about it here.. http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussions/tornado-ego-c-teamwork-to-figure-out-some-problems/90/As for the CE4 Tankomiser................................................................ Ummmmmm............................ not such good reviews I think....... PS @ Vape Escape? ROLFMAO

the initial comment in this thread referred to an ego-c. i have seen many threads rotate from one product to another and then it seems that the resulting comments are based on one of those products and then i am not sure which one they refer to.

Hmm.. Yes, you're not the only one John! Sometimes I think it would be a whole lot easier if these things had clearly defined names? I'm finding these superclearo- CETankomised-LR Cartomisers, to be a pig to get my head around!? Which is why I mistakenly thought this was the Rolf Harris thread! Anyway.. From the OP message.. I thought what he was actually saying that he was running a CE4 on an Ego C battery? Hmm..

Sorry JohnE, we're probably both confused...and probably both suffering from incipient OldTimers Disease what I assumed the OP was asking about was the terrific throat hit from the CE4 tankomiser, which is more of a punch in the throat than a hit imho, the fact that it was used on an eGo-C battery would have been immaterial really as the base, cone and atty of the -C assembly would not have been used. But you're quite right about the number of times it gets difficult to work out which product is being discussed... there's so much choice now that I'm having trouble keeping up because the names are so similar. I hope the next one will be called something distinctive... like the "whoopidoo" or the "OMG" or the "fanackapants" *edit* Wow, VE, you're on the ball I thought you'd still be in the hot-tub

Dang, I've been out of the picture for a while, whittling away at my enormous stockpile of smokeys, only to find that tankomizers have sprung into existence in my absence. I nearly ordered a load of them without consulting the crew (what was I thinking?!)....I hate to be so direct but I'm gonna be - no good?

I have to write all those names down, so I have a reference when something is discussed. May be after 3 years I have it down....

Hiya beastie, good to see you back (how's Flo? hope you got over those early upsets with her..) the bad press belongs to the CE4 tankomiser, but you'll find a lot of people really liking the new DCT or dual coil tanks.. http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/dual-coil-tank/35ml-6ml-dual-coil-tank-product.htmlI haven't tried them as I'm so chuffed with the eGo-C and still love the mega dual coils, so have fun exploring your new options! there's weekly yoyo items now and a daily discount code, so check those out before you order again...

Hey Miss Ellie, yeah Flo's doing well: She's much bigger now and a right scav! So you'd recommend an Ego C? Okay cool, cos it was between one of those and a n other very similar product...trust your judgement hon.

Hi b3ast1e. Glad to see you back! WOW! Flo's turning into a real heart breaker. What a cutie! RE: the eGo-Cs. Well, erm.... some of us (like Ellie and me) are having great luck with them, others not so much. And it seems to be down to some sort of manufacturing issue rather than vaping style, as some of the peeps that are having problems are experienced vapers who know what they're doing. On top of that, some that are having trouble are only experiencing it with some atty strips (strip of 5 attys) but not with others. All I can tell you is I'm loving it and I think it's the best kit I've ever vaped with...... but if my next strip of "C" attys is a "dud" strip, I'll be changing my tune it short order.

Thanks for the appraisal dude. I think I'll hold off a little longer while you early adopters continue to put it through it's paces. Aye, she looks cute but she's a right little pita Actually she's a good bit chubbier than when that was taken - that'll be all the scoffing of the dog's food while resolutely ignoring her own gourmet trays - so good I'd eat them myself and at the cost of throwing the uneaten ones in the bin, we might have to
