I have the mini e-pipe. I've tried everyhin I can think of but nothin works.

No matter the flavour, I can't seem to get any taste out oft it apart from what I 'd describe as rank. Kinda like the titan when yu first get it. I've got same flavour in a titan and my e pipe and it's like roles reversed. I'm using original atomizer and cartridge (new wadding?) in e pipe. Just not tastin any of the flavours I'm tryin which was always it's party piece.

Any ideas?

I would place a couple of drops directly to the atomizer..... It could be the cart is not wicking properly... or not contacting the bridge of the atomizer.

Ok chap will do. I don't direct drip as a rule, but I'm out of options. Will post back the results.

801 carts seem to vary a bit in how deep they go... 801 atomizers vary also in how deep the bridge is.

You can pull the wicking so it protrudes out a bit to contact the bridge that may help some.. until you get the right combination of cart and atomizer figured out.

Ahh ok. I'll play with the wick a bit. The direct drippin only seems to last a few long puffs before the horrible taste is back so might be a better solution to work on.

Thanks for the info. What other atomizers are recommended for a micro e pipe and whys it started doin it now after months. Never really used a diff atomizer or cartridge on it :S

might be worth giving it a soak in coca cola overnight, and a good sluicing with boiling water, before leaving it to drain and dry out for a few hours in a warm place.
It's easy to get a flavour "stuck" in the atty, which will keep tainting new flavours for some considerable time after you wish it would just go away. The 801 is that much bigger than 901 or 510 atties, that there's more places for stubborn flavours to hold out.

I like to use the TW multipack 801 atties with my minipipes, though you sometimes need to use the staple mod to make the connection between battery and atty (different 801 batches all seem to have slightly different tolerances when it comes to the height of the centre-pin connection.)

I'll look into it cheers. I did soak the atty in that Isopropyl? and then boiled for 10 mins and alhough took a while to get any vapour back it came through eventually with same taste as I had before soakin it etc.

It's just like a switch thats turned any flavour off. It's weird, don't understand whats goin on at all.

Could be that it's just time for a new atty - they don't last forever, alas.

I used to get a month or so out of an 801 when I was vaping that exclusively, but now I've switched to 510s mostly, I'm lucky to average 2 weeks before performance drops off to unacceptable levels (I am a very heavy vaper though Wink)
