Manchester airport experience

Just gone through security and they took all my bats and 1 carto and swabbed the lot for illegal substances.
Came back negative PHEW .
They then returned all items.
Packed juice and cargos in hold luggage well sealed containers.
Had nitemare visions of returning to stinky anogs
Any way am off 2enjoys me holidays.

I was stopped going through Southampton Airport. They said it looked like I had packets of bullets on the xray machine.
They were OK about it after I demonstrated that they were in fact cartomizers.

That was unlucky I think..I've been through Manchester Airport a few times with no problems whatsoever. Enjoy your hols (jealous)!

I've just got back from Lanzarote and flew through Manchester with no problems at all. I had my wicked stick and two screwdrivers in my handluggage along with 2 tornados and a few spare batteries. Just put it through xray with no issues (I did get "chosen" for a backscatter body scan though...) I put all my juices and spare atomisers  in my hold luggage though and just had a 5ml bottle in my liquids bag
