Just got my shiny chrome Tornado Tank this am despite Royal Mail's best effort to ignore the fact that I'd paid next day postage by delivering the day after the next day (Oi RM - NO!! You're missing the point dudes!). Initially I had an alarming issue. Having charged and assembled it all as per the glossy pamphlet in my kit (wow, awesome packaging btw, talk about ceremonial unboxing, I was like a 7 year old with a new train set!), and being careful not to force the cartridge on too much as per the pamphlet's caution....hmm, all I got was lots of vapour that tasted of burned plastic. Nothing I did made a difference. Dismayed, I checked out some comments here and on UKV. The consensus was, "push that sucker down pretty hard, don't be too gentle". So that's what I did, and there was the satisfying *click* I'd not managed with my hoity toity fannying about before. It really does need to be absolutely flush with the atie or it just doesn't work properly, "as it says in the instructions Einstein!" I thought to myself. So! Having already filled my tank with some Titan capuccino flavour, I took another hit, expecting more burny nausea inducement when....alakazam! I was suddenly in a pre-analogue ban, smoke-wreathed Cafe Nero drinking a foamy, creamy and slightly sweet coffee with chocky sprinkles. And a throat hit like a Cuban stogie (yeah I know you're not supposed to inhale a cigar). This thing is MADE OF WIN! I now just wish to Thor that I hadn't bothered with those silly Sky cigs - what a con! Sure it looks like a fag, it even convinces you that there might be something in this whole e-cig malarky, but compared to my brilliant new toy, well it might as well be one of those sweet cigarettes we used to be able to buy in the 70s! The difference is simply night and day. They're good as a sort of primer to the real deal, but not even remotely as effective. I've still got days and days of exciting discovery to be had, with Honeydew Melon, Apple, Blended Virginia and Menthol. I'm a little bit nervous about the maintenance side of things - this beaut looks like it needs to be kept in tip top shape, like all good sporty machines. Well done Totally Wicked - great service, great web site, great packaging - the word of today is GREAT! Thanks for the warm welcome all! I fully intend to hang out here and learn from the vape masters among you. I shall pick your brains like there's gold in them thar hills. And sorry for breaking the forum rules, didn't even occur to me that I'd stepped in some legal poop there I am now onto honeydew melon which is ludicrously mouth watering and so far it's a clear winner that I can imagine vaping all day long. Mind you, the icy menthol runs a close second just for the hit in the back of the throat and making my eyes water - must remember to break that one out next time I have a heavy cold! A further appraisal of cappuccino has left me thinking it will be an occasional treat, it's just a little too creamy and sickly for long term vaping for me, but still really nice. Now if anyone knows of anything that I can use besides a crow bar to get this thing from out of my vice-like grip for 5 minutes, that'd be just sweet. I've some manly chores to do, some of them involving heavy machinery, so two hands would definitely be an advantage

Hi b3ast1e and welcome. I got my mega tank conversion this morning, I got it assembled with only a minor problem with the mega cart, that I have now solved, I am now happily puffing away on my China mint and thinking alls right with the world. You know this thing could quite easily develop into a hobby.

You know this thing could quite easily develop into a hobby. Haha, yes. I'm getting a premonition of me becoming ever so slightly obsessive and precious about my vaping. Next pay packet will be interesting, the Tornado accessories page is calling to me like the Greek sirens of legend - "Come b3ast1e, sample our vaping delights, you know you want to...we take Visa!". 'Mega' things look to be the way forward. I'm also itching to try a low resistance atty too. Oh, so many toys, so little money! And I hear you re feelings of vaping Nirvana. I was watching my current favourite show last night (The Killing - awesome), with my faithful dog curled up beside me, and my missus looking on approvingly as I blew smoke rings of menthol all over the place. Fun times. Maybe you could use a Tornado Lanyard and hang it around your neck...LOL .jpg) That thing looks useful, but I don't see any easy way to strap it directly to my face. I do have a spare diving respirator or two lying around though

Hehe, yeah, I can honestly say I'm over the moon about this whole vaping thing, it appeals to me on so many levels, and I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders too. My tornado tank is just helping make it infinitely more pleasurable

Sorry to hear that, but then I've never vaped anything other than the faux cigarettes before this. Your standards might be a lot higher tbh. And yes definitely, I have noticed I'm getting a better experience from it now than the first couple of days. For starters the draw seems more loose to me and I can hear the atty making a crackly sound that I'm starting to find very satisfying. I'm getting very consistent flavour, whereas to begin with there would be these odd little bumps here and there that were like burnt rubber. This could all be down to my technique improving - when I smoked I tended to take short and sharp hits, I'm a speed smoker basically. Totally different with vaping it seems. Long, light draws are the way to a good vape, just like some of the vids describe. I don't suppose you're using VG juices? They seem a no no from what I've read, unless you thin them. Or maybe your's isn't quite wicking correctly? Can you describe your experience so far?
