Hey all,

I've looked through the various eliquid subforums, and I can see plenty of reviews for DV, red label, black label and patrior range juice - but nothing for TW Titan fluids.   Huh

Am I looking in the wrong place, or does it go by another name, or have there just not been any review panels for the Titan range?

Cheers for any answers, and happy vaping.

Edit: I know the range has changed recently - maybe all reviews of the old formulas have been deleted to avoid confusion?

Hi Dan

No reviews of the previous titan range have been removed there just were not any posted  Huh   our Totally Wicked Review Panelists did not get round to reviewing this range either.

The only thread i can recall is this one -  http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/forum/flavour-discussions/favourite-totally-wicked-titan-fluid-flavour/

A few lucky people were selected recently to participate in reviewing the new titan range forumulas so hopefully these will be on the forum soon.

Strange.  Is it just not as popular as the other ranges?

I've only just received my first batch of juice, and I went for the Titan because there was (is?) a 10 for 6 offer - so I've nothing to compare it with so far.

Hi & Welcome Dan,  I can tell you I have enjoyed the few Titan flavors I've had so far, but the original supplier is now defunct and some us are in the process of sampling the new Titan eliquid suppliers juice and will be doing reviews on them soon.

I really liked the Titan Tobacco flavor that came with my initial kit.  The French American Red Tobacco is kinda meh in my opinion.  I also got in on the buy 6 get 4 offer, so far i've only tried the Red Bull and I'm digging it.  I haven't got much to compare to though, my only other fluids that I've bought are local about an hour away from me.  I'd say the titan range holds up well for the limited range of flavors offered, but I haven't tried any of the Red Label or any other TW fluids for that matter.

Here's an edited version of a review I did elsewhere of the Titan tobacco flavour:

This review  is of Totally Wicked’s “Titan/Tornado Fluid" – supplied in his case in 36mg Tobacco Flavour

The liquid was used in a 901 enabled Screwdriver (Mk I) fitted with an LR901 atomiser and a 1000mah battery.  I've vaped my way through just over 10ml or so of the liquid over the last five days.

The liquid came packaged (unusually for TW) in a childproof plastic squeezy bottle of the same type used by many Chinese manufacturers with instructions and safety warnings but no ingredients list.

Liquid is a "bright gold" colour and very clear. The liquid smells of – not much really – there is definitely tobacco and slight caramel/fruit notes.

The liquid flows and soaks into the cart well.

When vaped, the liquid has a rather nice “generic” tobacco taste – nothing remarkable but nothing unpleasant either –the slight caramel and fruit notes remain in the taste and aftertaste along with the tobacco and are joined with a smidgeon of pepperyness.

The hit is excellent and well balanced – with a distinctly cig-like feel to it - and the vapour pretty thick.

The aftertaste doesn't hang around, and does not leave my mouth dry OR "sweet".

The vapour has a fairly cig-like smoke/tobacco smell to it and doesn't hang around or travel far.

Overall I’ve enjoyed vaping this – it isn’t exciting – but gives an experience pretty close to smoking a cigarette (it has even made me cough a couple of times).  So – not a favourite flavour for me I think, but a very good vape for the newer ex-cig smoker possibly.  I wouldn’t give it away if someone gave me some.

Really?  I bought 10 different ones and I have to say that after Virginia (too earthy), Strawberry was my least favourite.  The cherry though, which I know some people detest, quickly grew on me!

Different tastes eh!

I also have to concede that as a new vaper, my taste buds are probably still shot to hell!    Roll Eyes

So totally true. I've been vaping for 2 years now, but I would always mix in analogs until a couple months ago, and even though it was only a few a day I can totally tell the difference. 6 months ago when I was still throwing a few analogs in there I really liked the Patti's Wicked Mint - but now it's almost like I can taste too much pepper. It's weird, because I sucked it up so much and thought it was delicious and now, it's too much for me.

I've tried a couple of the new Titan flavors, but they haven't started the thread with the reviews just yet. I can tell you that the Cola one tastes and smells a lot like Tab Smiley that's as far as I've gotten.

I've managed a half arse sampling of a few of the flavors sent to me for reviewing. Let's just say I'm not very enthused to try the rest. One note I will add now is the vapor production is damn near terrible. Very watery and It seems like 10% or less VG / vapor IMHO. Sad

(edit)
Fuits are close to original but menthol is not even, just by the smell you can tell.
(edit2)
Full reviews in a few days.

Which ones did you try? I've tried the Cherry, and the Cola so far. I liked Cherry, although it doesn't really taste like Cherry it was pretty good. My husband said the aftertaste was like cherry. It smells like one of those Luden's throat lozenges - you know the ones that aren't like throat lozenges at all but more like cherry candy, and are kind of delicious. The Cola one I'm kind of digging, even though I think most people ordering cola will be expecting a more traditional "Coke" flavor, it tastes like Tab, so I'm kind of nostalgic about it Smiley I feel like I need a neon headband and a side ponytail or something. Tab.

Cherry is good. Watermellon is better than good as is honey dew melon. Menthol is ok but not nearly as good as the original. All in all if you haven't tried Titan before you would be happy but for Titan vets it's nothing like what were used to. IMHO vapor amount is bad.

Yeah, i've noticed the vapor production is lacking as well, the flavors i've tried so far are decent enough but not quite as tasty as the original.

I have just 3 more to go until I can put all my reviews in one spot Smiley I had only tried 3 of the original titans, and since we were told to list 3 flavors, I figured we would get 3 each Smiley It's taking me a bit to get through all of the ones I received. The only one that I can't stand so far is the RY4.

I've just received my order of Titan fluids, simply because it was on deal and I've not tried Titan fluid before, I was on red label. Tried Cola 11 mgs so far on a new smokymizer. Was quite surprised by the reviews that the vapour is poor, mine was quite decent, although it could be because I tried it on a newly opened smokymizer. The taste is OK but nothing special, a hint of Cola I'd say, no remaining aftertaste in the mouth which I was happy about. The throat hit on smokymizer is not great at  all. All in all -average experience. I wonder if the quality of titan fluids is good, I mean they're cheaper than the others, so have some doubts about the quality of the ingredients. What do you say, guys?

Personally I'm very unhappy about the new titan fluid, all around garbage. Vapor is half of what the old Titan was. Taste is about half of the old and could it be anymore watery! I mean jeez talk about cutting corners. ;( I could review them all in one post with one para. Wait, I think I just did!

Yeah, I see what you mean now. Have been vaping 1 smokymizer of Titan  fluid since morning and it's almost finished, probably due to its watery substance. Red label lasted me much longer thn that. I'm not a heavy vaper so one regular tornado tank is usually quite enough for the day and titan one has already gone with twice as much fluid

My thoughts so far :

Watermelon = Great
Red Bull = Great
Strawberry = Great

Apple = Okay
Honeydew Melon = Okay

Vanilla = Terrible (indescribably awful)
Cherry = Awful

Vanilla and Cherry for some reason taste like I'm vaping straight vegetable oil.

I'm new to vaping having started on the analogue looky likey type e-cigs which meant I couldn't help sporadically having analogues to hold off the pangs. So my taste buds are going to be telling me porky pies for a while yet. So take my findings thus far with a healthy dose of "yeah so what noob, you could suck on a tailpipe and get nice flavours". That being said:

Cappuccino - Jury is out for me on this. I'm not really a fan of the real thing, I like my coffee pitch black and snarling at me. Nice, but a little on the sickly side for all day vaping imo.

Honey Dew Melon - hate to quote Charlie, but WINNING! I love this one to bits. Not sure it tastes quite of the actual thing, but it's definitely a lovely zesty fresh melony taste.

Ice Menthol - this reminded me of some candy we could buy in the UK called Winter Mixture that included clove balls. Loving it, bracing, like being blasted with arctic wind right in your face!

Yet to try Apple and Blended Virginia, will post my findings, but I'm in no hurry to rush to them, I'm really savouring the experience. As for vapour production. Mine seem to go up like a bonfire, and my wife could even detect menthol in the air last night, as did the dog who immediately retreated to a safe haven with an attack of the sneezes. But that could be because my kit is still brand spanking new?

Can't wait to try the Red Label stuff, also the Decedent range too. And I'm really piqued by the Red Bull, being a fan of vile energy drinks.

Ok, I finally finished tasting all of my samples and the flavors that I tried were (in alphabetical) Cherry, Coffee, Cola, Honeydew Melon, Red Bull, RY4, Strawberry, and Vanilla all in 18mg strength. Please feel free to move this post anywhere it needs to be, I haven't seen any other posts regarding reviews on the new Titan Range so I figured I would put it here to start. I did take a couple of pictures so that people could see colors which I can add if needed (haven't uploaded anywhere yet) but I did take notes when I first opened the package.

The gear that I used to test the flavors were Tornado Tanks which were cleaned prior to every new flavor introduced. I would like to run them through a clearo to see the difference, but I haven't done that yet. Here are my "nerd" notes:

1) Cherry: light orange color (think apricot), smells like a Luden's Throat Lozenge - which I know sounds medicinal, but these are the types of throat drops that you beg your mom for when you're sick because they taste like candy. It really did smell delicious, and I wanted to lick it. Sorry to disappoint you, I'm still here, I didn't drink the bottle Wink As for the taste it was quite pleasant. From the smell I expected it to slap me in the face with cherry. It was not overpowering, but was definitely like candy. Once vaped it wasn't too cherry (as in overpowering), but it was tastey. I've read about complaints on vapor production, honestly the amount of vapor has never concerned me, throat hit, and satisfaction (the point where I don't want to murder small children and kick puppies) is what concerns me, I did not feel like I was missing out on this area. My Atty was well broken in, and vapor production was average.

2) Coffee: I actually tested this one last, because my first experience with a coffee flavored vape was so bloody terrible that I was scared. It wasn't a TW line (I know, I'm a cheater, sue me) - so anyhoo, I was honestly horrified to try this one and....I did it, actually I'm still doing it, that's what I'm vaping tonight. My final flavor. I'm starting this off by saying I'm probably biased because even though I'm an avid coffee drinker, I love coffee candy, coffee ice cream etc. the first time I vaped a coffee flavor I hated it. The color of the Titan coffee was a darker orange color, and it smells kind of like coffee that's been in the pot a little too long (think Dunkin' Donuts, but burnt a little so you have to add extra cream and sugar to make it right). The taste - it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting, but that's because it's TW. It's good, not amazing. It wouldn't be something I would have as a daily vape. It would be nice with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream, it's was also pretty decent with the square of dark chocolate I had for desert. I LOVE coffee, I don't like to vape it, I'm sure there is someone that loves coffee more than me that will find it an awesome vape, it just wasn't my cup of joe - as a daily. I would consider addressing it again (with ice cream). As for vapor production, it was on par with the rest- moderate, don't expect billowy clouds of white to emerge from your lips, but it's not like it's easily hidden either.

3) Cola: I think this one actually turned out to be my favorite of the ones I tested. It's light amber in color, and it smells exactly like Tab! I think most customers in the market for a cola vape are going to be looking for something that tastes like Coke or Pepsi. I've tried a few different brands, and no one has gotten it right on either of those, but this one tastes just like Tab. I think I mentioned before that it made me nostalgic, and I wanted a side ponytail and some horrific neon attire. This was quite tasty though. For those unfamiliar with Tab, it's a caramel colored diet soda popular in the 80's that is sold in a magenta can. It's not like Coke, it's not like Pepsi, it could be kind of considered a product in between with a bit more citrus. I really liked this one. It wasn't too sweet, I wasn't "done" with it after a half a tank, I would definitely order this even though based on description I wouldn't. Bottom line, if you're expecting Coke, you'll be disappointed - but if you want something cola/citrus ish, you'll like it. My favorite thing was that it wasn't overwhelming, I didn't get sick of it. Vapor production, moderate.

4) Honeydew Melon: Slightly darker in color than the old honeydew melon, and the scent is stronger. I loved the old Honeydew Melon, this tastes about the same, I really didn't notice any difference. I love the old one, I love the new one. It tastes refreshing, not much to report. For me, it's one that I like to keep around on hot days or early mornings that I decide I want to spend the time on making myself an omelet (I always tie in honeydew with breakfast). It's good. Vapor production, about the same as the old one. I didn't notice a difference.

5) Red Bull: Slightly lighter in color than the old Red Bull. Smells EXACTLY like Red Bull....or at least what I remember from the last time I went to the corner store and bought a Red Bull Smiley. It tastes like Red Bull while vaping (which to me, Red Bull tastes like baby aspirin (you know, the orange chewable tablets). It's the same as it was, maybe a bit stronger in flavor. When I previously purchased the Red Bull, it wasn't a daily, it was a once in a while, and it's about the same now for me. After about 1/2 a tank (regular - not large) I was ready for something else. For me, this one is a novelty. It would be good if you were sipping vodka and wanted a vodka and Red Bull but didn't want the calories Wink I liked it. Vapor production - moderate (moderate means, and I'm being repetitive, don't expect billowy clouds, but it's not nonexistent.).

6) RY4: Light amber color. Smells like tobacco and maple syrup. It's funny because when I preferred analogs, I liked menthols, and when I discovered PV, I tried menthol, and didn't care for it, and when I was still mixing in the analogs after I found my PV - I wanted tobacco flavors, because the PV tobacco flavors were so much better, I was really keeping my fingers crossed for this one because it seemed like it would be a sweet take on tobacco based on the scent of it. The flavor reminds me of the ginseng gum that became popular in the 90's in California. For those of you unfamiliar, ginseng gum was kind of like sweet, spicy, rubbery, DIRT. It was very earthy in flavor, and by earth, I mean dirt. I got over my first reactions after 1/2 a tank, and then I was just bored. It wasn't my favorite tobacco flavor, it wasn't my least favorite. It was there, and it should just be called "Maple Ginseng", because it really doesn't resemble tobacco, and I don't know what RY4 is supposed to stand for. Vapor production - less than moderate, I was still satisfied with throat hit, and no puppies were kicked during this research.

7) Strawberry: light amber in color, the strawberry scent is there but maybe a bit weak. Honestly I couldn't tell a difference between old and new. I liked it quite a bit, it was tasty, it wasn't anything AMAZING, I woudn't have it's babies, but strawberry is a two times a week vape for me. It tastes clean, it's good. I would buy this one. Vapor production was a bit better than the rest, it felt like the old one truth be told. How can you go wrong with strawberry? That was rhetorical.  It's good. If you want an affordable strawberry, that tastes pleasant, this is the way to go.

Cool Vanilla: Dark red, almost purple. I was surprised when I read the label and it was vanilla. I have an old vanilla, and I'm not sure now if it's red label or Titan - but it's not purple. As for flavor, this one was kind of odd. My first hit was good, mild, but good and two puffs later it was not so good. I want to say that something was fishy. I switched out tanks and attys, and the first hit was good...and then shortly after it was all wrong again. For this one I want to say, it was a good effort. The smell was tantalizing, the first hit was pretty good, but it was all down hill from there. Ironically - this one did have the most vapor. Which is important to some folks. Vanilla cod anyone?

Those are the ones I've tried in the new line. I did receive a few more that I ordered, but I haven't tried yet because I've been determined to give these ones my opinions first.

My opinion is that the Titan line, is the lower end line for TW. I've sampled these along with a couple from the Red Line, Patriot Range, and DV.  As far as bargains go, the Titan line is definitely superior to some of the other lines I've tried, and as far as cost effective lines, it's the best.

The problem with these reviews is that taste is so subjective. I might think that RY4 tastes like fish dipped in maple syrup, but someone else might love it so much they would die for the last remaining bottles, so take these reviews with a grain of salt, they're just one dork girl's opinions.

Hi guys,

just to complete my personal assessment of Titan flavours I've tried (all 18mg nicotine):

Apple -  This didn't do much for me at all.  Flavour was barely there, and what there was seemed way too artificial to me, with no freshness to it, just cloying. It's not apple to my steadily improving taste buds, it's a popping candy version of apple. Sometimes fruity flavours while maybe only broadly close to the real thing, do have an appeal of their own. I find cherry and pear flavourings tend to be that way for me. Not this one though, won't re-order it.

Blended Virginia - Oh wow, this wasn't at all what I was expecting. I rather liked the normal tobacco flavour that came with my kit in pre-filled carts, so was kind of expecting the same here. Not a bit of it. This has an initial caramel nuttiness that I simply cannot get enough of. On the exhale it takes on a different flavour again, a lot more tobacco-like, but smoother than any tobacco I've ever smoked. And then, the lingering aftertaste is back to peanut cracknel again. Simply marvelous.

Of the five Titan fluids I have tried, Blended Virginia hits all the right notes. It's a keeper for me and one I can (and do) happily vape all day long.

I was sucked into one of the totally wicked deals recently where if you ordered the white tornado tank kit, you would get 5 10ml bottles of titan fluid, so I was also able to try Watermelon. It's ok. I think I prefer the honeydew melon though, more flavor. I'm vaping the cola most though - I think that one might actually turn into a daily for me. I just like how it's not underwhelming and not overpowering. I'll have to try the Virginia though it does sound good.

I had those two flavors in the old formula. Honeydew and watermelon. Both are good maybe the best two fruit flavors from Titan now. Both taste very very and I mean very similar. Watermelon is sweeter and honeydew is a lil more crispy! Cherry sux, new menthol sux and all other pretty much fail as well. Remind you I don't like tobacco flavors.
