That there is too funny!!
I openly vape in some cases, and sneak-vape in others. As others have stated, there are some instances where it is just easier to not have to hassle with explaining that it is neither a cigarette nor smoke.

Personally I vape everywhere (work, pubs, trains, buses, driving instructors car, restaurants and aircraft etc etc etc) myself, but then again I am allways willing to explain what it is and argue a little bit if necessary. You will always get funny looks on buses, planes and trains, on these occasions I stealth vape a little, but also tend to blow my vapour towards a window, or down towards the floor and it's usually disperses before it reaches head level. I have now flown to Madrid twice from Gatwick, with Easyjet and Ryanair, and had no comments from anyone on the plane. Gave a Spanish security guard a bit of a shock when I was waiting at the gate to come back last time though, he must have run the best part of 50 yards saying to me in Spanish 'What are you doing?!' 'You cannot smoke here!' etc as he got closer to me and I explained what it was, he asked where he could get one and tried mine when I offered!
I have noticed more and more lately people dont think I am smoking, but either ask me what it is (using a DCT 3.5ml with a mega passthrough in silver) or ask me if it's 'one of those electric things' usually followed by questions like 'Does it work?' and 'Where can I get one?'.. so it is becoming more common knowledge, which is great in a lot of ways, but it does make me wonder how long it will be before more companies start taking official stances of banning it in their offices, restaurants or pubs!
Ah well... at least were free to vape where we want most places at the moment.

Good on you! Cant wait till my Odessey arrives no one could make the mistake that I'm using an analogue unless there blind of course! The only thing I would avoid would be in front or near children because this is very contraversal with some parents with the association thing of it! p.s I still go outside with the smokers at work just dont want to push it too far! Personal view I suppose? and habit! (like the other vaper said!)

The day I went down to TW Vaper's Lounge in Tampa to start my vaping journey, the guy who was in front of me being helped was an airline pilot who's "Home Base" was Tampa Int'l Airport. His Airline recently instituted a "No Smoking" policy for employee's that coincided with the Airports own No smoking policy. No employee -airport or airline, could smoke on premise. He heard about e-cigs/vaping from his company's dispatchers...who all vape! Now apparently, all the "ex-smoker's" that work on airport property are vaping!
Everyone from baggage checkers to Air Traffic Controller's that used to smoke cigarettes are now vaping...pretty cool!

I was at a bar a couple of months ago, me and my brother were vaping outside in the smoking area, and a guy was collecting the glasses outside. He saw us, walked up to us and said, "You can vape those inside, I'm the owner and I have one". Needless to say we go back to that bar quite often

As I said my previous, my local bar has no objection.. I am now at the stage I take a half dozen extra drip tips as people are forever asking for a go. Last weekend, a bloke I know in his 60's hadn't been in for a while, walked straight up to me, pulled out an e-cig, and said, 'Thanks Billy, been in hospital, have to cut out the @analogues@, never had one for three weeks, I feel so much better!!!' Also I carry a 'baccy tin' with dct's of various flavours, and always have one of fully PG, to reduce vapour in places am not sure of.

I now have several extra Facebook friends whom I've acquired after satisfying their curiosity about vaping. My usual stance is to open by saying it's not smoke so it isn't covered by anti-smoking legislation. I offer them a toke on my Odyssey. (If TW could supply some sort of an extra cover for once-only use to go over the mouthpiece then I could make people this offer without the hygiene deterence.) If they're interested, I say that they (and I) can get a discount at TW by mentioning my name and postcode and suggest that we be Facebook friends (assuming they are on Facebook). I then send them my postcode and a link to the TW referral scheme page here: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/wicked-social/vape-for-life-referral-scheme.htmlI've never encountered any animosity but then I can be quite disconcerting: my glasses mended with what looks like Blutac, my hair wild, my clothes often somewhat unconventional. People might mutter to themselves about what the world is coming to, but they tend to leave me be when I vape in public.

Yes, let's ban crossing the street - it's not proven to be safe. We can all stay secure on our side of the street and wave at each other. Maybe there's another issue at play here: people who think that any type of inhaling for pleasure is wrong. We're allowed to use our lungs to breathe, and that's it. We make anti-smoking products - gum that can make you go deaf if you chew it too long, patches that make your skin itch if you leave them on too long, and drugs that interfere with your ability to dream - that are all intended to be unpleasant so that you want to stop the nicotine replacement therapy itself as soon as you've broken the smoking habit. Then along comes vaping and smokers can save themselves all that angst and guilt (as well as the thousands of poisonous chemicals in cigarettes). Suddenly you don't even have to try to give up and the suppliers have the gall to exploit the fact that if they don't make any claims for their products then they aren't subject to any form of regulation. Shame! No wonder people are up in arms. We're supposed to PAY for the folly of having started smoking in the first place. We can't just go around vaping smugly in front of No Smoking signs. It takes the biscuit. So let's ban it, everywhere. Given that this is likely to be the public's attitude upon encountering a vaper just out to enjoy him- or her-self, it is hardly surprising if said vaper then starts to feel anxiety, maybe even experiencing a panic attack. In this situation, try to continue having positive thoughts, sit down, maybe groan a few times. If anyone approaches you, explain in staccato bursts that you're having a paranoid panic attack brought on by the kill-joy vibes emanating from the people around you, and that you need to vape to calm your nerves. If that doesn't elicit sympathy, just go outside and vape with all the other smokers.

In places where the vapour would be a distraction (cinemas, church and the like) I tend not to vape. However I happily vape in the lounge of my golf club and have never had any problems. I don't go into pubs much but will happily vape until asked not to by the management.

had a spinal injection in hospital theatre last friday for worn discs, vaped in the waiting area, held on to my sd in theatre but didnt vape due to shear fright, recovery area i was vaping like it was going out of fasion, one nurse asked what flavor was in it as she couldnt smell it, others i think were gambling on how long my battery was gonna last as i was sucking on it all day (little did they know i had a spare battery in my changing locker and was swapped in a slight of the hand), I could tell people were very cross with me (these were people in day theatre who smoked analogues), but it helped me loads having this injection, not being able to vape would have made me so irritable, and tbh i was quite calm having this massive injection into the crack of my ***, but as more and more people vape i think the rules are going to change everywhere

Probably change the rules so that you can't vape in your own house if there are other people present, especially children.

I am on another forum for supporters of a particular football (soccer for our USA friends) team. On it was a very interesting thread it was called the vaping club. People were all saying they vaped, what they had tried etc. Then to cut a long story short, when the season ticket renewals came out there was a bit which talked about the no smoking regulations and it also expressly said the no smoking rule also applied to any e cigarette within the ground and immediate external environment. One of the other posters contacted the club to check and got back a reply which indicated that the club were concerned about the potential crowd control , public order etc when analog smokers complained about vaping. Madness i tells ya.......still going match tho! so i need to learn to stelth vape

When madam and I started to vape we gaily wombbled around Tes*** doing the weekly and had a few frowns to start with but now not a problem - even got stopped at the pharmicy to give advice !! We take the attitude that all/everywhere is allowed but if there are negitive comments we will answer and try to 'educate' but stop vaping if there is a firm resistance. We have not yet been challanged but have had a awful lot of question of te usual sort [ what where and how] Even our Pastor has recommended it to another parishoner. There will be some backlash I feel from the Don't Allow Anything mob down the road but so long as we can get the 'High Ground' first we should win [Cheers and Woops of Delight - high '5's all round [background music "there'll always be and England"]]

I'm never allowed to stealth vape when I'm with the Mrs she's afraid I'll get noticed and embarrass her😱 I ordered the parts to make up a Red Wine ego slim (they are out of the kits), since I already have batts and attys etc. I want to see how well it stealth vapes at Anime Weekend Atlanta this weekend if it arrives on time. Actually saved $20 and got the color I wanted getting separate pieces ordered 😍
