I'm a Direct Dripper. But I don't have a TW Drip Tip yet. I just use an empty cart.
Would anyone recommend that I should get a Drip Tip for my tornado?
Thanks,

Given how cheap they are, I'd say give them a go. Their main advantage is that you don't have to remove them to drip (though you can drill out an empty cart to drip through too.) So they'll save you a few seconds of fiddling every time you vape Smiley

I have tried the metal ones and don't like them, the plastic ones are OK and a good shape for me at least.

The hole in them is really to small to drip through I find so it defeats the object a bit.

Hiya billyb60, if you use a Tornado with 510 atties then if you use the nylon drip tip you will probably find it causes problems unless you modify it (ie cut or sand away some of the drip tip) as it blocks off the airflow through the top of the cone. There is no such problem with the metal ones as they are the same diameter as the normal carts, but the nylon ones are wider in parts. Personally the only carts I use nowadays are for the Tornado Mega atties, otherwise it's drip tips and cartomisers for me.

I have both the short steel drip tip and the long steel drip tip, ive also dripped just using an empty cart, think there all about the same but the long steel one looks better!

Wonder if I should try the plastic ones. The metal ones I've got are good, but they tend to cool my vapour, and I quite like the warm vapour feeling from mine, so I end up having no tip at all, woo tailpiping! Cheesy

I have the short metal drip tip on both my Tornado and MkII Screwdriver. Since i switched I ve not used a cart as i didnt like the acrid plasticky taste I got  from them. I d have no hesitation in recommending you try one.

I have both Nylon drip tips and the Metal. The Metal drip tip is always cold on the lips, needs warming up first. That's why I always use the Nylon. But thinking about it, the amount of drops I've missed would prob ammount to a 10ml bottle by now.
I prefer the drip tips but it's user preference.

Never thought of that, do the metal tips really cool the vapour?

Hehe, I have to use plastic or I'd be burning my lips.  Metal conducts heat much faster and I get my stuff real hot from all the vaping I do.
