For the record, since starting Vaping because I ran out of baccy, was feeling particularly knackered and couldn't be bothered walking up the shop, so I borrowed the other halfs Ego C ... There's a wee bit more to it to be fair but that's the crux. I haven't had a stinky or felt the urge to, I was smoking about 12 to 18 rollies a day so although not much by many standards enough and for long enough that it was a habit rather than anything else..... I did and still do to a point really miss rolling them though, now I clean threads, top up tanks and such instead.

I'm aware this isn't the way of things for everyone, and I didn't plan on stopping smoking, it just happened that way no complaints I still get my nicotine hit, it tastes nicer (I'm amazed how much I notice the smell of fag smoke) and smells better, I'm assuming it's considerably more socially acceptable(not on the whole something I'd be over bothered about) because the PV generates interest rather than frowns or tuts, but over all I do feel better for it now, placebo effect perhaps?

I've been vaping 4 weeks today and not even thought a bout stinkys, I really hated smoking but I like many was addicted to it badly I really wanted to quit but just did not have the will power. Vaping gave me an option so I switched to it and since then I have more energy I can run up the stairs again something I've not been able to do in years and that gym session looks all the more appealing these days. My constant cough is gone my chest is not tight. I don't get heart palpitations and my anxiety is at lowest it's ever been in the last 15 years. I would recommend vaping to any smoker and the switch would be a piece of cake if the really want to get off the stinkys. All in all the benifits of vaping instead smoking are priceless.

The main positive aspect about this read is the proper analysis about the topic is provided like statistical analysis , methods , results after use, mood and physical symptoms scale etc is widely and very thoroughly described as it contains each and every issue and the technicalities of E-cigarettes and so on.I would love to see these kinds of experiments again and again.

Below is a study recently completed by the University of East London on The electronic-cigarette: Effects on desire to smoke, withdrawal symptoms and cognition, to download press the link

Tio really be valid it needs to be tried over times of hours and days, however long the subjects were deprived to create withdrawal; I suspect the effects of the eNic would increase.  However, I sometimes suspect that more nicotine is needed that the common typical and "high" ranges to be fully effected.  Also, burning tobacco does allow the rate of burning and inhalation to be dramatically changed dynamically (eNics tend have the atty on or off), which can make a difference.  Also, cigarette smoke does contain other active ingredients besides nicotine, though in much smaller qualities -- the is also nornicotine, and a mild monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), and many other things -- so how well eNics in general work is probably dependent on the user and what use / effect they were after / why they smoke / vape to begin with; what may be great for one may not be for another.
