Hi guys, apologies in advance if this is a stupid question, but I'm off on a cruise next month and I was wondering if there was anything I should take with me document wise to avoid any potential hassle at the bag scanning part before I board. I'm not worried about being on the ship itself as smoking is allowed, so vaping should be fine. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this.

Many thanks,

Phil.

I was on a recent Royal Caribbean cruise and vaped all over the ship. Crew did not care and I instructed many passengers on the benefits of vaping...........Ron

Thanks for the info guys, most appreciated.  I'll just carry on as normal then, should be no problems.  Hopefully I'll convert a few folk onboard the ship.  A captive audience!  Thanks again.

I'm going on a cruise in December with Royal Caribbean and they've stated outright that if I want to use my Tornado I'll have to go stand with the smokers  Cry

Take some TW business cards with you.  You will need them.  Wink

They've already stated in their 'Guest Conduct Policy' that e-cigs are subject to the same restrictions as smoking, so I'm guessing a business card won't cut the mustard. I'll just be stealth vaping wherever I want Smiley

They are only scanning your bags for booze. Vaping should be fine in any areas , stealth vaping that is of course !!

Went on Carnival the first of the month from New Orleans to Cozumel.
Had no problems at all, most of the crew had some kind of e-cigs themselves.
Smuggled my whiskey in a camel-bac bladder inside my back pack. (second time) Grin
They are looking for bottles, cans, and weapons.

Enjoy!

It's not about the freedom to vape anywhere that is the appeal.  I find that I get the most interest when I'm vaping around smokers.
