Hiya mollywog, welcome to the forum. If you were vaping neat VG, which is very thick and syrupy, it wouldn't work too well in tanks, but if it's a premixed VG based juice or home mixed and the vg is diluted 10-15% then it is fine... I use 'all VG' mixes which are just VG based unflavoured nic base and 10-15% flavouring (Most flavour concentrates are PG based) with no problems at all.

See my answer to your other post in General Vaping Discussions for more detail, but no, no truth to it.

PS please try not to post similar questions multiple times, it can get a bit confusing for everyone.

I can agree here and having had the time to use my kit in winter weather I can say 50%vg works fine anytime but at sub zero temps you will need to take harder draws as the liquid get really thick even at only 50%vg. You could just draw harder or add 5-10% distillers water. All vg will give be hard to use with the tank at almost any temp. Maybe fine above 65F but haven't done exact tests.

Hi mollywog, welcome to the forum  Smiley
You can turn your neat VG (vegetable glycerine) into AG (aqueous glycerine) which is the optimum consistency for vaping,
by adding a little distilled or de-ionised water... in the ratio of 85 parts VG to 15 parts water (or thereabouts).
Don't use tap water as it contains minerals and trace elements which will seriously reduce the lifespan of your atomisers.
80/20 is about as thin as you would want it even if you live somewhere very cold....the colder the weather, the thicker it will get, as StevieD and Rtsjr just noted.
Are you mixing your own e-juice?

Thankyou Pufferfish I mainly use premixed pg but am very interested in learning DIY.  My mixes are weak in both fiavor and vapor and mixing seems the way to go.Ive been using an ego tank with mixed opinions but just ordered 3 ego-c atties with high hopes  and many great reviews but, I found a spot on this board that was discussing problems with the new egoc and I couldn't help notice most of the people listed heavy vg mixes & I wondered, how many people using lighter(more pg) mixes were having issues.

Mollywog, I think you'll find that the VG proportion in a mix has no bearing on the performance of the -C atties.
 I use about 50/50 VG/PG
and I know that 8Ball uses all VG except for the flavouring (which comes dissolved in PG) so that's up to 90% VG;
and neither of us have had an issue with the -C atties.
If you've been vaping just a short while, you may be finding your flavours weak because it takes a little time for your tastebuds to recover from your old habit. If you still indulge in that "old habit" (I'm treading carefully to stay within forum rules here...) then your tastebuds will remain fairly unresponsive.
Even if you've been vaping for quite a while, there's a possibility that you're having an episode of "Vapers tongue" when your sense of taste is diminished or even  Cry absent for a while. This happens for no apparent reason but usually doesn't last long... it helps to vary your flavours throughout the day instead of vaping all one flavour...it seems that the old buds like to be surprised from time to time  Shocked
of course, it's also important to stay hydrated... drink plenty of fluids whilst vaping.
Hope this will help  Cheesy

50%VG/50%PG works fine for me.....and 36mg of nicotine for a better throat hit. But I try slowly to cut down on the nicotine. So I may have to raise the PG. Question: Aqueous glycerine is the same as distilled, deodenized water?

Sorry, for a better throat hit I have to add PG, not VG. And as I just learned the Aqueous is only watered down PG? I am still learning, lol........ Smiley

Lol, you're getting there Jurgen.....Aqueous Glycerine is 'watered down' VG, normally about 85% VG and 15% water (distilled or deionised). It's diluted because neat VG is too syrupy for most equipment to work with.
