VG good for vapour
PG good for Throat hit

Am not sure what PEG is, (maybe a mix of both ).

I just read that vaping can cause a dry throat, how can i best avoid this?HuhHuh, lol apart from the obvious .

also how do I know how much to do a mix with..

soo many questions

Try this MixingHelper made by Knoton one of our members

The link hopefully takes you to a downloadable zip file that when unzipped is a mixing guide/calculator

And as to the dry throat, you will need to increase your fluid intake, whether it's just water, tea, or whatever as the glycol vapours will cause some dryness.

PEG gives more vapour than PG, more throat hit than VG, but does not add sweetness to a mix like VG does. PEG does however, need an atty to be on top form as it has a higher vaping temperature than PG and VG. PEG also gives an oily/creamy taste and feel to a mix that some people don't like.
