I started this last night and charged my 510 batteries numerous times whilst doing so. Today I got my Tornado battery...and finished this off...took a good few hours and the sexy thing is still going strong. Cheesy

Anyway, I hope ye like it Smiley

Also...I'm direct dripping onto my 510 atty with a Totally Wicked long drip tip...3 drops usually. This lasts about 5 minutes at most before the flavour and throat hit stop. Is this about right?

Wow, VERY nice oprez....your attention to detail is top notch!  From the purposeful wrinkles in a leather jacket, right down the the teeth on the zipper....the light and shadowing is really quite well done too. Smiley  How long have you been drawing for?  Myself, I am lucky if I can pull off a stick figure lol.

I find that 3 drops will last me a good 5-8 drags.....so depending on how often you take a drag, 5 mins sounds about right to me. Smiley

Wow, you truly have a great skill there.....your pencil portraits are simply amazing hands down.  The Jack Nicholson one...."Heeere's Johnny!" Cheesy

Your T-shirt designs are great as well......what do you do most of your designing on....Illustrator...CorelDraw?  I work in the screen printing business, and can honestly say, that is some of the better designs I have seen.  Well thought all with great detail, but still highly printable. Smiley

Great stuff, thanks for sharing it. Smiley

Wow thanx a lot. High praise indeed Cheesy Well naturally enough the pencil stuff is all done by hand. Most of the colour stuff I do like this: I do the line art by hand on paper then scan it in and clean it up in Illustrator or Vector Magic. Then I'll paint it in Twisted Brush. That's an excellent program which is made specifically for painting. I use a graphic tablet too which is great as in Twisted Brush the pen can be become virtually any artistic medium of my choosing. Sometimes I'll do the characters and background separately then bring them all together in Microsoft Photodraw (old school and now defunct program that is highly underrated). Also, I use a program called "WhatColor" which tells me what colours I'm using because I'm colour blind!!  Sad

That actually explains a lot, and goes to why your T-shirt art looks so "printable" to me. Smiley  A lot of "graphic artists" in the business, will just jump in Corel, or Illustrator, and slap things together, and while it may looks good to the eye from a distance, it breaks down in the actual print in noticeable ways.  Your lines were very smooth and solid, and it was very well put together, and after you mentioned the various programs, and steps you go through to get to the finished design, I can see why. Smiley

Also, graphic tablets are the best thing since sliced bread hehe.  In the hands of the right person, it is amazing how well they work.....however, me I am just a clumsy fool with them hehe.  We have a fairly nice Wacom at work, but again, not too good with it lol.  As far as color blind goes, you still have an excellent sense for color, and your art reflects it....the colors are vivid, and pop nicely. Smiley  My dad was color blind, so while not knowing 1st hand, I do have a sense for how much of an annoyance that can be. Shocked

I have a Wacom too. It's the most basic of the Bamboo models which really isn't even meant for artwork per se but it certainly gets the job done. When I got it first and started with Twisted Brush I had some major frustration as I could get neither to give me the results I wanted. I persevered though and well everything comes with a learning curve I suppose. Fact is though I had ideas in me head that I couldn't produce to my liking with traditional means so the Wacom/Twisted Brush combination was perfect for me.

As for the colour blindness...I do see colours...I just see em all arseways...like blue and purple look the same...green and some yellows look the same...that kind of thing.

Anyway, your input and praise is much appreciated Cheesy Thanx again.

That is some of the most impressive yet anachronistic work I have ever seen!

From your subject matter and style, I would have to guess you to be around 50 years old or so but I have the feeling you are MUCH younger than that, by about 20 to 25 years.

I have some friends who play in Rocket 8 and although rockabilly is not particularly my thing, a night of it every once in a while is a blast!

You have some SERIOUS talent!

Thanx VapinMazo Smiley I'm not familiar with Rocket 8. I know a US band called Rocket 88...probably not the same band though eh? Do they have a Myspace? My search showed up nothing.

My stuff has never been called "anachronistic" before hahahahaha. I suppose with the niche scene I cater to it's not really looked upon as that. Hey you'll have to get your mates in Rocket 8 to commission me Wink

They don't have a MySpace page but they do Facebook, Rocket-8 Facebook

Not sure when I'll see them again but when I do, I'll definitely point them in your direction.

Had you seen them 20 - 25 years ago, you would have.

They were Rockabilly before anyone knew such a thing existed.

Rocket 8 has been around a LOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time.

For people that know about Rickabilly, they seem to have known about it for some time but for those who haven't, what seems like the vast majority unfortunately, the most common response I hear is, "Is that new?"  Wink

We also got another interpreter buddy of mine (best around for music performances - wow should see this guy interpret for Prince  Shocked ) the job of interpreting the show. Good times  Grin

Wow deadly stuff capt Cheesy I saw Setzer with his trio a few years ago in Dublin. Good show but Jaysus his guitar solos went on a bit. The Stray Cats were supposed to play Dublin a while ago on their farewell tour for which of course I had tickets...BUT...they played London the night before and Slim Jim fell off the stage and broke his arm so the Dublin show got cancelled. How very inconsiderate of Slim Jim to fall and break his arm hahahahaha.

No worries, there's plenty more where that came from.

On a note of Rockabilly though, they did have a double bass a number of years ago but when multi-pedal bass kits came out AND, the drummer decided he was too old to have to work that hard anymore, they trimmed their kit down.

And as for quiffs, one has to have hair for that, right?  Wink

Quiffing the hair up from the back is just so wrong on so many levels!  Cheesy

Oh, an up-right. Acrobatics like that, when one is young, often leads to needing a solid body bass when one gets old.  Wink

The 'double bass' I was talking about can be seen just behind the bass players butt.

Setzer certainly is a world class player alright. That link didn't work thought capt. Sony have restrictions on it being viewed outside the USA. I play a bit of guitar myself. I'm the proud owner of a sexy black Gretsch. This is me having an auld twang with something I made up meself Smiley
