I truly apologize for the ignorance.  Have I missed something here?  Huh  I ordered the starter kit and the 5 Atty Multi-Pack.  The only atomizers that have wadding (wool, whatever you want to call it) in them are the pre-packaged ones in the bottle.  Was this wadding something extra I was supposed to order?  I've looked all over the forums for an answer, so please try to limit the flames.  Wink  I've got other products from TW and they work flawlessly and I won't buy from any other distributor.  Just can't seem to figure this one out.

Sorry again for the bother and the ignorance.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

There just blanks they put on the atomizer to protect them during shipping and handling.

If they had wool in them it would only soak up the primer..... ewwwwww

The "cartridges" that ship on the atomizers is just a blanking cap to prevent foreign material from getting in the atty during shipping.

You have two options:
Buy some of the empty cartridges (these will have filler material in them) and some fluid to fill them with
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/cartridges-refillable/mini/mini-e-cig-dse-901-cartridges-1-product.html

Or

Get some filler material, cut it to fit, then put it in those empty carts.  They will still work, they just have no filler in them.  There are plenty of options available.  I think the stock filler material is basically just some sort of polyfill (you can find this almost anywhere), but I've heard that fluval works better.  Fluval is a blue filter foam used in aquarium filters and can be found in stores selling aquarium supplies.
There's also the PTB mod, using pyramid tea bags, but I have no info on that one and you'd have to look it up if you wanted to know more.  The above options would probably be quicker and easier

Guess I'm not understanding this correctly.  I did order the extra 5-pack of atomizers, but they are all empty.  I have tons of juices from TW that I was ready to try out when they got here, but none of them have the wadding in them, they're just empty black tips.

To try a be a bit more explanatory:

The tips that came in the bottle with differing strengths of tobacco (in the starter kit) all have the wool insert and are soaked with the tobacco flavored juice.

The tips on the atomizer mutli-pack that I bought with the starter kit have no wool insert in them and therefore cannot be filled (or all the juice would simply run out and flood the atomizer).

Is it intended for this (what I would consider) crucial piece to be missing from each of the 5 tips?

I've watched the instructional video on how to refill these. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WySfWueDZbA&feature=player_embedded

I've purchased over $200 worth of Decadent flavor juices.  I go to drip one of the juices into my new tip and there is no wool insert inside the tip to soak/hold the juice.

I'm sure everyone's laughing at me by now...and I apologize...I'd just like to get this figured out.  I use the Tornado Tank also, just wanted to try this model out..

Thanks in advance for your time.

May have answered my own question.  What I purchased was this:

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/mini-cigarette-accessories/mini-ecig-5xatomizer-multi-pk-product.html

What I should have purchased was this:

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/cartridges-refillable/mini/mini-e-cig-dse-901-cartridges-1-product.html

Is that a correct assumption?

*facepalm*

Hi fuzymunky, just to throw my twopeneth worth in, if it helps...

The eNIC is, essentially, three parts:

     1. The Battery
     2. The Atomizer
     3. The Cartridge

When you buy a new atomizer, on its own, you are only buying this element, a dummy cartridge is included for protection of the atomizer, you have not purchased a new cartridge. You therefore have 3 options:
     1. Buy additional cartridges either empty or prefilled
     2. Use existing cartridges from you starter pack
     3. Buy some fluval sponge to cut down  and insert into the blank cartridge which came with the new atomizer.

Hope this helps...

Just a followup to dejabu,

The wool you speak of is called "Fluval".  It is nothing more than aquarium filter material.  It can be purchased at any pet store or aquarium shop.

So you can either get some new wool or you can simply use the wool that came in your prefilled cartridge.  All you have to do is take a pair of tweezers and pull out the wool.  Wash it off under hot water and then pat dry.  Then put it into the cartridge and put about 10 drops of liquid.

Yes fuzymunky that is what you need. Either them or the prefilled ones.

I have tried the different varieties of Fluval and other fish tank filter materials and found them to change the flavor of the liquid ....... it's concerning really as what I taste is either the material breaking down from the eliquid..... or some sort of bacterial accelerant/cultures infused into them...... there are bacteria you want to keep a fish tank healthy and aid in breaking the crap down. ...... tried washing the foam  thoroughly  but still tastes funny too me..... leaves me to wonder about some peoples sense of taste around here at times.

That is correct!! At least you have got 5 new atty's to keep you going for a while. You should be able to keep refilling the cartridges that came with your starter kit for a while until your new ones arrive Wink

Fluval is the white filter pads (don't use the foam fluval use the pads) "best"
Mairineland foam is the blue foam.
Filter wool is almost the exact same thing that comes in the carts. IMO this stuff works great
All from your local pet store.
Fuzy where are you from?
If you fill in your profile others can give you specific info for your location.
