What is a 501/901

As a new vaper, when people talk about 501's and 901's what are they talking about...is it to do with attys?

It refers to the type of fitting (thread) that an atty or battery has.

510's give off more throat hit and less flavor as 901's give off more flavor and less throat hit from what I have learned on the forum here    Once you get into the LR versions of the two it's a whole different ball game and haven't tried 901's yet but will have to in the future.  The Mega Tornado LR's are awesome for both throat hit and flavor in my opinion     LR's are meant for dripping and will have to find a drip tip to fit your desired LR atty if you want to sway in that direction

So far I found that you CAN still use carts with LR901 (1.7ohm not 1.5 ohm) and LR BE112  atomisers - other LR atties don't wick fast enough and must be dripped

That's very nice to know about the LR 901's and will have to do that when I get my SD MKII in the future!
