Lately I've noticed that my home made juice just doesn't last very long (all made from stuff purchased here at TW) compared to the prefilled carts I got with my ego-c. My own juice tends to last about a day or more at most, where as I can't get rid of the tobacco ones that came with it fast enough (not a massive fan but don't want to pour it down the sink).

I mix my juice using the 54mg PG solution, down to 18mg with 50/50 PG/AG, with around 10% flavour.

I read that AG gives more vapour, and that the TW mixes are about 80% PG. I guess I'm wondering if AG causes more vapour because it atomises quicker and therefor doesnt last as long?

MCam,

I believe your summation is correct; the VG/AG's do atomize at a greater volume which I can only assume means that the base is being wicked and vaporized at similarly faster rate.

The boiling point of PG is just over 188C, Glycerine is about 290C.....but if it's mixed with water this drops rapidly, 80% VG + 20% Water boiling point is 121C, so yes, juice with a higher level of AG will vapourise quicker.
